    It does make a big fricking difference, I had a FWB type of deal with a woman who was in her 40s but legit had skin that looked better than mine (I'm 28).

    She attributed to the fact she started using sunscreen every day when she hit 30, so that's all the evidence I fricking need because her skin was flawless.

    you 100% fell for the rhetoric. but its also probably not completely harmless as theyd like you to believe. i can tell you that i didnt wear sunscreen until i was in my 30s and my skin is fricked. my back looks like a map of indonesia. i wear a mineral sunscreen now. they make nice ones that dont make you look like a sheet of printer paper or frick up your clothes and go on easy. again, whatever that surfactant or whatever it is probably isnt great for you but its better than being charred for 60 years.

      Windows block UVB which is the beneficial one but let in UVA which is the cancer causing one. So you won't get sunburned or vitamins D but you will get the cancer

    No sunscreen for me, I usually get a minor burn the first time I'm out, then, I don't really burn after that.
    Protip: take 5000-6000iu of Vitamin D3 for a week before being in the sun, and take it afterward, it will help you NOT burn so easily.

      La Roche-Posay Antihelios is god tier. It's on the expensive side but spreads really well so it's more of a face and neck one. It blends into your screen so well that you literally cannot feel it about 20 seconds after you have put it on

They were arguing that any type of natural light is harmful and that includes reflections on the floor and walls inside your house, so the only way to avoid damage is to use blackout curtains AND wear sunscreen at the same time.     It's not microplastics but it's heavy metals and other nasty shit. the basic rule of thumb is to not smear stuff on your skin that you wouldn't eat.

    My grandfather is 87 and has bad bouts of skin cancer come up he needs cut off. But he also said he and others when they were teenagers would purposefully get sunburned at the start of the summer, and then the resulting tan "would protect them for the rest of the season". It's no fricking wonder the older generation is all over our asses about staying out of the sun when they would do that shit.

    I was at holidays last weekend with a friend who disliked wearing sunscreen. I already saw skin damage on his skin like white spots and hair damage (norwood 2).

    in the end its up to you but im 5 years older and dont have any skin damage because i wear my sunscreen in the summer almost everyday
