      Fricking this. Dietary cholesterol does not translate to blood cholesterol. Stop eating sugar and simple carbs, that spikes glucose in your blood which damages the endothelium in blood vessels. Cholesterol deposits are your body trying to fix the endothelium and fricking up as the cholesterol in effect delaminates the blood vessel allowing swelling in the blood vessel that leads to blockages.
      That being said I remember a documentary on some professor who only ate fish for 40 days (only fish, no grains, fruit, veg, dairy etc) and it basically cleaned his blood vessels out. Was on TV early 1990’s I’ll have to find it.

      I live within a 1 mile radius of EVERYTHING I could ever need and it's fricking awesome. Like, EVERY-FRICKING-THING.
      It's not even a yuge city, 200k pop tops and it was more or less the same 25+ years ago with way less people.
      I'd surmise 75k-100k is enough sustain pretty much any kind of business short of yuge arenas, something niche/gay like indoor bouldering or very cutting-edge surgery. STILL you will be able to find all sorts of weird shit, just probably not the weird shit you're into.
      No HEMA or kendo dojos but we have a ninjutsu school. One of our 2 indoor pools hosts scuba classes despite the fact we're 120 miles from the sea. We also have one of the best-stocked gun stores in the country AND an airsoft/LARPerator store nearby (honestly I don't know how these guys stay in business).

      You don't even need bikes, bike lanes and all that gay shit. The Dutch's obsession with bikes is the biggest larp.

        10% is fairly arbitrary but that's because it's a bell curve of response. Most people will have effectively the same risk as if they eat 0 saturated fats if they eat <10% but every percent after that creeps up risk. 10-15% is pretty noticeable effect long term, 15%+ and the negative effect on cardiovascular outcomes is very clear
