Creatine monohydrate is the same regardless of brands. I bought a huge bag like 2 years ago and it's lasted me. It was like $35 and I definitely can tell a difference, I put in like 5 lbs of water weight but it's in the muscles so I look bigger and I feel like I can get an extra rep or two which adds up in the long term. Some people are non responders apparently tho.

      >Some people are non responders apparently tho.
This is highly understated comment regarding creatine. I have hard time putting on weight unless I'm chugging weight gainer shakes all the time and feel like shit. Creatine makes me gain over 20lbs in a month. Yeah it's bloat but my muscles and pumps grow insane. Also the hairloss.

does the bloat look the same as fat?

          Anonymous

If you are a responder no, the water gain is intracellular not extracellular, so it gives the appearance of the muscles being slightly fuller and harder.

wise decision. good hair is a lot more important than anything else. that being said there are plenty of people who have dht resistant hair so no creatine will affect it at all.

is the difference really that noticeable

for me extremely. I even accused the brand of making tainted supplements. maybe they were really tainted. Ive grown like crazy.
then there are people who have been taking it for years and cant really decide if its anything more than placebo or just a meme.

For me yes. Each time I've started taking it after a lay off, I've gained 4 or 5 pounds quite quickly, (with no bloating or digestive troubles), enough that people around me have noticed.

Mine didn't come with a scooper. How much is 5g of creatine monohydrate in teaspoons?

      Anonymous

1 teaspoon = 1g. You need to remember to do a loading phase, else you won't achieve a high enough serum concentration for it to be effective. I usually go for 25g a day for a couple of weeks.

Long term it's maybe like a 10% boost in muscle gain rate over being natty. It's not worth it if you're on a budget. If you're on a budget just buy test or anavar.

Why do the gays who claim it causes hair loss never point to a study or some kind of empirical evidence demonstrating it? Considering creatine has been studied for decades, you’d think they’d have an infographic or something by now.

yeah you only need a few pounds of steak every day to get enough creatine, that's a viable strat bro don't take this little powder just spend 50$ a day on steaks and die of a heart attack in your early 40s.

i never noticed any real benefit whether i'm on or off this stuff, maybe some marginal muscular endurance gains but honestly i feel more from a multi-vitamin than this. it can be tough on the digestive system and you need to be extra mindful of hydration or else you cramp up so i've stopped taking it all together
