Fin doesn’t help. Idk why, fin stops my recession dead in its tracks, been on it for almost 3 years and maintained a perfect NW2
I’ve tried taking creative 3 times while on fin and every single time within a couple of weeks I start shedding like a golden retriever
Yes potentially regrowing some temple hair in exchange for gooping up my hair twice a day if I’m lucky enough to be in the 40% of responders to min
I have thick healthy hair and especially a good crown, yes I receded a bit at the temples but I’m also 33 and think I can own that look
My hair still looks better than 9 out of 10 men I interact with

>Twice a day
once per day is more than enough, min has a lifespan of roughly 20 hours. You should consider it twice a day only if you have an advanced case of NW, which you don't.

Fair enough. I always considered min if my hair recedes even further for some reason which thankfully by now it didn’t yet
I frankly just can’t be bothered. I tried to get a prescription for oral min but my doc wouldn’t have it and I didn’t press the issue any further

Sounds about right, since min is a powerful vasodilator.
The effect on hairs was discovered as an after-effect by being the primarily source of vasodilator used in the 50's, of course your doc won't prescribe you a heavy vasodilator if you don't have an ongoing disease.
topical application is fine since it doesn't enter your digestive system, thus its effect is limited to the zone where applied.
But I can understand you concern on having goopy hair. That's why I usually apply it before going to sleep.
increase the fin dose.
assuming that one study is correct and creatine does increase dht, then you should be able to overpower it by increasing your fin dose, which prevents the conversion of free test to dht.
its not some other unknown mechanism, the study literally found dht increases, so more fin should 100% fix it.
if you wanna be very anal about things, do a bloodtest before you start creatine and note your dht levels
then start creatine, increase your fin dose by like 25%, and do another bloodtest. compare dht levels, adjust fin dose as needed
but its 100% certain you'll be able to find some dose that takes care of any creatine-induced dht increase.
i mean, if that's what you want.
i just think that for a natty, since creatine is basically the only supplement that works, and it works very fricking well (relatively speaking ofc, roids blow it out of the water...), that it may be worth it to take the time to do this.
also iirc the studies its like a 10% boost in volume, whether by increasing weight or reps. no idea how much extra gains that translates to, but its significant
I know what you mean, I loved being on creatine.
But it legitimately made me anxious as frick losing hair. Maybe if you're already used to losing a certain amount of hair, it's not as noticeable but since I still have a very good hairline I rather take the tradeoff of 10% less gains in exchange for keeping it. As I said, I was shedding like a golden retriever, while usually I lose between 0-5 hairs a day.
If I'm going to such lenghts to adjust my fin dose and find the perfect balance between fin and creatine, I might as well be doing actual roids.

>I might as well be doing actual roids.
i assure you, doing actual roids would be considerably more involved
and more risky.
but yea dude, by all means, you do you.
most telemedicine services let you get fin and boner pills online. it's still a legal prescription but you just need to fill out a form instead of going to the doctor.
I get mine from zava
Hair loss has never been documented in creatine studies, some of which have gone on for years.
Better explanation: >Guys starting creatine are at an age when they start balding >Lots of guys roiding are also taking creatine, and it's way nicer to blame your baldness on creatine to disguise your roid usage
>no one stops anyone from recreating it
Exactly, it's quite annoying that more research into this hasn't occured >who doesn't support it?
There's no other study that supports this one
started taking creatine a week ago and I've not noticed any hair loss at all. If I ever start to lose hair I am immediately stopping the creatine and throwing it in the trash.
Hair loss usually doesn't work that way. If you, for example, have an extremely stressful period in your life, you'll lose your hair several months after that. And you can't do anything to stop it when it starts.
When I looked it up, it says that the hairloss claims are from one study that was not replicated. I just started taking creatine. Hopefully it doesn't accelerate my hairline's retreat.
There was no study that claims hairloss, it noted a significant increase in DHT (which is the main driver in male pattern baldness)
"It has never been replicated" simply means no one tried to study the effect of creatine on DHT again, it does NOT mean it has been debunked. The study itself has a relatively small sample size but it is solid in its execution (double blind placebo-controlled)
In the end you will have to see for yourself. There are many that noticed an increase in shedding after taking creatine for a couple of weeks but apparently also many that didn't. I wish you the best of luck
If you are worried about DHT, take finasteride.

You're supposed to do fin+min.
You can just do min 3 times a week like mon-wed-fri
I don’t need min. Fin works perfectly fine by itself for me, I don’t need to put on some greasy goop twice a day.
It’s just creating that fricks me up
>NW2
>I don't need min
Do you even know what min does?

Good idea but no thanks. I never had fin sides but I'm not taking any chances by increasing my dose to get 5% more gains with creatine
i mean, if that's what you want.

i believe it varies from country to country
in some places its OTC, in others you need a prescription
All synthetic substances will cause that.
Bro if you take anything, you are guaranteed to get literally all of the side effects 100% of the time.
Just take it with Finasteride

I'm surprised there's not conclusive evidence for whether creatine increases DHT or not
https://chemistry.stackexchange.com/questions/164342/how-does-creatine-increase-dht-levels
It may or may not increase 5-alpha-reductase.
Everyone just references that one study which is yet to be recreated or supported by anyone
>which is yet to be recreated
no one stops anyone from recreating it

who doesn't support it?

It's a very small study as well
ass cancer is what you should really worry about
Yes It causes hair loss.
It increases DHT which leads to balding.
started taking creatine a week ago and I've not noticed any hair loss at all. If I ever start to lose hair I am immediately stopping the creatine and throwing it in the trash.
Give It 3-6 months

I'm a neurotic person and go through periods of very high anxiety and my hair is ok
Just take saw palmetto bro
No.

One study doesn't mean anything but I guess it does increase, don't care I have good genes
