Look you frick tard, first of all, mewing changes the angle of the maxila, so her neck might be in the same position,
and even if it isnt, what do you think her chin pointing upwards mean?
YES! The cervical-supporting muscles got strengthened and now she's relaxed in that position
This not cope, it's simply understanding what's the objective of mewing which you dont seem to understand but somehow feel qualified to talk about it
>inb4 muh he just lost bf
It can be explained like his maxilla expanded too, your point is fricking moronic
>IT'S NOT LIKE THAT IT'S LIKE THIS BECAUSE............ BECAUSE IT IS OKAY????
My point is this:
Unless there's an accurate measurement as to if mewing worked or not,
your thoughts are as baseless as saying pic related was due to mewing
AND if you were to understand what mewing is all about, you'd have looked at her UPPER jaw which has a less variable change as to the angle of her lower jaw (which changes too dumbfrick)
>mewing doesnt work putting your tongue in your palate isnt going to make your chin grow
what a way to miss the point you stupid piece of shit kys
I had to google this >Mewing is a facial reconstructing technique that involves placing the tongue on the roof of the mouth to change the jawline's shape
That's your default resting state while breathing through your nose, it's not even conscious...
Yes I also have a good jawline, but this is a chicken and egg question
Bones are really only malleable when you're a kid. I know this because I had super fricked up jaws and wanted to get double jaw surgery for years - which I finally got done earlier this year. They measure your height every year to see when your bone plates are done growing - which is typically about 18 for women and 21 for men. Once you stop getting taller, then it's considered safe to get jaw surgery, because if you get the surgery before you're done growing, then there's a very high chance of relapse as your bones continue to grow and shift around. And so mewing probably works for very young children (i.e., 5-7) if you find someone who knows what they're doing and can guide the development of your child's face so that they look as good as possible and don't suffer from health issues like breathing problems and TMJ. But once you've become an adult, you can't really do much to fix the structure of your jaw bones. Surgery is your only option at that point. And so don't get duped into thinking that you can fix your fricked up jaw bones from mewing or devices that claim to stretch your jaws. I've seen absolutely horrible horror stories where people's teeth got extremely screwed up from those devices. But that doesn't mean that mewing is completely pointless. You can still improve the muscle structure of your face from mewing and chewing on those mouth guard thingies. Just be careful about giving yourself TMJ.
Oh, and I also forgot to add that jaw surgery is totally doable if you have screwed up jaws like her. Don't be intimidated by the entire process. Yes, it takes a long time, it can be very expensive (I've actually seen Americans on /r/JawSurgery claiming that their insurance covered 100% of the cost though), the surgery is quite scary, and the recovery is absolutely brutal. But the vast majority of people who got jaw surgery are glad they did it. My face looks so much better now after I got the surgery. I'm still not a model, but at least I don't look like an absolute freak anymore. And the boost in my self-confidence made the recovery and cost 100% worth it. And so if your jaws are genuinely screwed up, I suggest not bothering with dead ends like mewing and scheduling an appointment with a highly rated and experienced jaw surgeon.
No. There is zero scientific basis to it.
Zero.
You are delusional if you think your tongue is going to exert enough pressure for your fused bones to expand.
Yeah. Someone taught me about it about a decade ago and I've been practising it ever since and now there's anons from back then who claim I had plastic surgery or whatever when I never did. You also need to learn how to breath properly and make the maximal effort all the time to breath correctly and you should chew gum, I only recently took up chewing gum and my improvements have been even faster, if I started chewing gum earlier on I probably would have made faster progress.
Do people really need to be told to breathe through their nose and to rest their tongue on the roof of their mouths. I thought that was just natural for everyone
I remember when I was young (<10), I read this fantasy book where the big bad was this corrupted god and his army of black people. The description of black people as dull and slack-lipped made me both racist and obsessed with never opening my mouth other than to talk. Suffice to say, when you mew, you are choosing to reject blacks (based) and by extension ((them)). Thank God I absorbed this at a young age. I think the book was by David Eddings or something.
most mewing """"""""""progress""""""""""" pictures have a combination of these things: >both pictures have different lighting and angles >person in the pic went through puberty >person in the pic grew a beard/fixed their acne/got a better haircut >person in the pic fixed their posture
I like how she was looking down in the left and up in the right.

yeah build a time machine to when u were 10 and mew
ull have a godlike chad jaw by 17
If you're in early puberty it will
Mewing is a meme, just get braces they work way better
I wonder if this works against facial recognition surveillance databases, or if it's too slow that they can just update your profile
what a complete delusional individual

my default resting state is at the bottom of the mouth
It’s over

>fused bones
>Experts say the theory behind it has some merit, and that the technique may benefit children whose jaws are still developing.
>there hasn’t been any studies therefore it’s not true
moron
>how to get started
Ummm, push your tongue against the roof of your mouth as often as you can remember to do it.
Yeah. Someone taught me about it about a decade ago and I've been practising it ever since and now there's anons from back then who claim I had plastic surgery or whatever when I never did. I thought mewing is supposed to reduce the hook nose, but hers got worse.

You mentioned all that but didn't even mention the most important one.
