tendon remodeling takes a lot longer than muscle. You aren't going to maximally train your forearm muscles with one of these because the range of motion is so low, you need to train your wrist. Grip trainers will help with muscle a little bit, but the major thing they will help is your tendons. There are very few muscles in your hand.
I had carpal tunnel syndrome. This this and other grip training for forearm strengthening helped it. You can never fully cure it, but my symptoms have gotten far easier to manage. Quit your bullshit.

The ajdustable ones are better and I can squeeze out to the max of 60kg within a few months from having no wrist strength and that causes wrist problems when ur tendons take damage no supported by strong wrist muscles. i've seen tremendous grip strength gains but not much visually. fun but kinda worried about overdoing these since i draw for a living and dont wanna bust my fingers up, sometimes i get a weird grip or slip and it cracks my fingers bad

I do everything. Squeeze and let go, twist different directions while squeezing, go deeper and push out with fingers, twist while pushing out with fingers and different wrist motions. If you're hands, wrists and forearms aren't burning after 30-60 seconds you need to go deeper and work harder. You can do those weight roll up and also forearm isolate with dumbell too.
