With supplements the rule of thumb is that if it is legal then it's a waste of money. Creatine is basically the only exception to this, as it does have a measurable effect, but it is about a 1-2% improvement, and if you are already eating enough meat then it's even less, if any. Instead of wasting money in creatine or whey just buy and eat more chicken and beef.
It's more like a 5% bump and nearly 30% of lifters are non-responders. However the cost-benefit ratio is good enough that it is indeed nearly one of the only supplements that truly are "worth it"
absolutely not. if you bench 100kg for 8 reps and you take creatine you absolutely will not bench 105kg for 8 on the next day. You just absofrickinglutely will not. The 1-2% improvement, I can take the 1% with a caveat that you were a vegan before and did not eat red meat so you had a legitimate deficiency in your body in terms of creatine. Otherwise even that 1% is theoretical at best.

It is. There is no need to take a significantly increased amount that you will just piss out the excess of instead of taking your normal maintenance dose and waiting at most two extra days for it to kick in
I doubled my bench in a month on creatine because I’m vegan, I use to lift 150 something when I was a teen then stopped, started on 1 plate regular, took creatine and a month later I’m on 2plates for reps.
>if you bench 100kg for 8 reps and you take creatine you absolutely will not bench 105kg for 8 on the next day
It doesn't fricking take effect in a single day you mouthbreather.
Saw that movie too, such a stupid line tbh. Some creatine is better than no creatine but it's like a 3% improvement in performance at best. It increases the amount of energy you have and that's about it. I take it via preworkout, pic related.
Yeah. Been lifting on and off for years and got way faster improvements on it.
Let's see the data, girls

uhm actually its more like a 1.3-2.3% improvement homosexualBlack person
next day? You need to pass the loading phase thats at least 5 days moron. After that you could do at least close to 105x8
Loading phase is a meme.

It's an endurance bump, not a strength bump. It lets you grind out an extra rep.

its good, the 5% guy was close, its more like 8%, it will make a difference
take creatine if you can
I heard it was almost 10% improvement in some areas
If it lets you grind out a whole extra rep on sets of 8 that's like a 12.5% increase
What's the best resource for determining which sups are contaminated with poisons and heavy metals? Consumer reports?
Didn't do shit for me, tried it for 4 months. I've been steadily increasing in size and strength without it just fine.
Some poeple get no benefit from it
Good if you want to shed your hair like a dog
There should be a 30 day wait period on creatine
