This guy is in his thirties and looks late fifties. He’s also the most popular functional fitness youtuber. So why does he look so old?

ngl i like watching goatis ironically bc he's funny
Just the opposite: working out keeps you young. Adults (>= 25) who are out of shape and don't work out look older than they are, in a bad way.
I have no idea who the guy you mention is, but it could be he either has bad genetics, or he takes/used to take steroids; steroids age you fast.
>he takes/used to take steroids
He's alluded to accidentally taking something when he was younger and a lot more obsessed with strength/hypertrophy when he was less informed/there was less info available
>Why does he look so old?
Bonglander hitting the wall.
Bongs are not reliable data for anything regarding looks, the bong effect is real. Just visit Bongistan once and you will see.
These anons know
>yfw you realize it's bong o'clock
>Bongs are not reliable data for anything regarding looks
lol this.
Bioneer does not look late 50s, he's just british
goatis isnt the most popular functional fitness youtuber
Nope, working out keeps you young.
There is a very easy explanation for this. This guy
- goes outside all the time and never wears sunscreen
- has a body fat percentage of 20% or so
- never fasts
- eats a lot of red meat every day which overactivates the mTOR pathway and causes constant cell growth
Even if he is outside a lot he lives in Britain which is in the north and is cloudy most of the time. So it’s not anything like being outside a lot in LA
It's not his fault his face is british
His body is peak natty though
Working out doesn't age you. However, this idea may come about because significant weightloss DOES make you look older. For instance, going too low bodyfat and your face looks mummified and giant, or people who used to be obese and lost the weight, due to excess skin
Losing weight usually makes you younger, unless you have taken significant UV damage, in which case you lack collagen in your face and wrinkles are more visible
Being fat makes you look old, but so does being really low bodyfat, to the point where theres no fat left in your face at all and you look like a gaunt skeletor.
You look youngest at a healthy bf%, and having never been fat before either (loose skin)
>so does being really low bodyfat
Nope, again it depends on the collagen percentage in your face
You can go too low. See: Jakey in Nightcrawler looking like motherfricking Lurch
It has nothing to do with the bodyfat, Jakey had already taken too much UV damage by Nightcrawler
And in that pic he's at a healthy bodyfat, NOT too low. This shouldn't be hard to get
He intentionally looks creepy and weird. But yeah some guys look weird with low bf
'sverigay looks more and more like a ftm troon
life on the british isles ages you
Just a reminder this is goatis' ex girlfriend
Could be a cutie if she fixed her teeth and acted feminine
Bioneer is kind of moronic. He says being fat isn't a choice, and he made a giant comment seething on Natural Hypertrophy's video about how he hates skinny functional nerds.
>and he made a giant comment seething on Natural Hypertrophy's video about how he hates skinny functional nerds.
Based
No, NH was the one who hates skinny nerds. Bioneer was the one who was seething about that and wrote an essay in response.
He most probably had a rough life as a young lady, he might have smoked, drunk or done drugs, got into a lot of fights or other drama raising cortisol or shit genetics, there's a lot of ugly c**ts over there, who knows.
nta but see also what happened to bale after the machinist, and mcconaughey in dallas buyers club
both ridiculous weight loss and both have faces aged by like 10+ years with not huge deal of recovery after gaining back weight.
extreme weight loss absolutely DOES age you. malnutrition ages you much faster
Yeah, John Goodman too. ngl he looked younger when he was bigger.
Can confirm, I did it because I was moronic and it threw me into middle age about a decade earlier, health wise.
Two of the biggest overlooked factors are stress and lack of sleep.
Not sleeping in your 20's basically guarantees you will look 40 in your 30's.
It may take many years to realize that certain bodies are meant to handle certain types of stress. If it's overstressed, it will age.
>looks late fifties
What are you talking about?
He has young children he looks like shit from sleep deprivation.
