I dream of becoming a bouncer for a club, is it worth doing a cycle to get huge and intimidationmaxx? I've heard it's really good pay + you get heaps of female attention
I've already started getting tattoos of skulls + flames on my forearms, I want to be the biggest baddest mofo in the room

>I dream of becoming a bouncer
why not shoot for the stars and dream of becoming a garbage man? Kek I’ve never heard such a pathetic aspiration in my life. Let me guess you just found out about Roadhouse?
Garbage man is a union gig. In my area it starts at 80k with benefits. Bouncer pays like $20/hr. I bounced in college. It kind of sucked. You're more like a mother than Roadhouse. Clean up empties, tell people (blex) to take off their hats, no you can't smoke on the Patio, keep your shoes on, get off the table, etc.
Plus the "industry" is a cesspit. It eats up people. Huge drinking, drug, and hook up culture. And I'm not doing the poltard that's degenerate bit. It eats up people. Much worse than going to bars and trying to hookup.

Explain
This mainly applies to managers, bartenders, and servers, but bouncers get pulled in too. This also might apply more towards bars and clubs in major cities rather than the local sizzler with a bar in it.
People that work in bars tend to make drinking their hobby. They go out and get trashed on their nights off and many of them turn to drugs, especially Adderall and coke. If one of them gets cut early, they often just go drink instead of going home.
Another weird thing is they are only friends with people in the industry. Almost like a cult. They also sleep with each other, all the time. It's not like a random hook up where you see the girl once or twice and then never again. They are all FWB and it destroys professionalism.
At the same time they all want to leave and they become very resentful of the people they rely on for tips. They all get unhealthy from burning the candle at both ends. A lot of times they don't leave until they hit rock bottom. It's also extremely common for them.to get so fricked up they get fired, then just go across the street and work at a different club.
Noted
Never date anyone who works in that industry
>be me
>work from home
>dream of becoming a garbage man
let's hear about your aspirations homosexual
i dont think you understand how shitty the job is being awake all night, having to throw drunk macho morons out, but not beat them too much or they will sue you. worry about getting arrested, and still someone might stab you
its just shitty job with too much responsibility
have a nice day you low IQ moron. Who the frick wants to be a bouncer lmao. Do you have no real ambitions in life? Have fun dealing with entitled femoids and drunk idiots who can glass you for a minimum wage
>t. software "engineer"
>you have to eat all the seeds
> I've heard it's really good pay
Only compared to other unskilled jobs. You're being compensated for risks , unsocial hours, boredom and job insecurity.
> you get heaps of female attention
From bottom tier bawds
> I want to be the biggest baddest mofo in the room
You'd be better off developing people skills instead, the club cares more about getting sued and not "intimidating" their customers.
>Bottom tier bawds
Pffft you have the hottest chicks seeing you as the protector of the pack
No, they see you as a low IQ employee
>NOOOO YOU HAVE TO WAGEKEK IN SOME DIFFERENT WAY BECAUSE... UHMM YOU JUST HAVE TO OKAY!
OP is based
Anyone who's worked Ina bar will tell you that being a bouncer is by far the worst nightlife job out there
Thanks anon, you and I seem to be the only based ones on this site.
I guess many guys here don't have that masculine urge to fight + be the strongest , probably from growing up playing too many video games id say
Your going to get your ass kicked you fricking homosexual. I was a bouncer for seven years. You have to have balls and know how to fight which you have neither you giant fricking homosexual.
I've done karate for 2 years now, I can handle myself.
>T. Robert Hamburger
NTA… anon…. I think you trolling but if not: dying in a trench slowly with 25 in Ukraine to a drone is maybe necessary but not as romantic as you picture it while still in your comfy bed. Same goes for bouncer. A cousin of mine is bouncer and he is not enjoying it.
But I get where you coming from: you seek adventure and struggle, you are young. I say go for it, see where it leads to. Just have a plan B
I respect the hell outta OP
Yes dude become the biggest tatted up moron you can be and push around drunk people.
Thanks anon, I'm seriously considering it
If you initiate contact for any reason but to break up a fight or push a belligerent person out the door, you will get arrested. It's not like roadhouse. The drunk will call the cops and they will come arrest you. The law still applies. Plus you'll likely get fired on the spot. Club doesn't want to deal with that shit
In my experience working doors, the cops generally dont give a shit about me bouncing a drunk out extra hard. Every police officer I've interacted with while doing security already knows that I don't really want to have to deal with a dumb slob who got handsey on a girl, I get paid to do that, but I prefer to get paid to stand there and look tough, talk about movies with my co-workers, maybe point out where the bathroom is for the 300th time in a night. Thats it. Every cop basically feels the same and we both do mostly the same job.
Yes you can push them out the door. Doesn't have to be gentle, but if you throw a punch and it wasn't self defense you're getting arrested. Even if it was self defense, you're still getting fired.
My bad; yes, punches are pretty much a no go unless you get hit first, then the rest of security will in fact make it a gangbang. I haven't seen roadhouse, but your main offensive move is engaging with the customer face to face and having someone else come in behind for the half nelson while the customer is focusing on you.
The only dudes getting away with punches are the older guys throwing them at real regulars, and are on ridiculously good terms with the owners and high rollers that show up.
>pic
lard ass is the opposite of intimidating
>ask about bouncer
>post stand over guy
What did he mean by this?
Do it, the money is good and if you can handle the 2nd shift like that you won't really be spending money on other stuff. Additionally, if its "that" kind of club, you can always add an additional fee for yourself on the cover for the dweeb dudes who come in 5 guys deep without a chick. Or those who think that a knockoff Versace shirt is acceptable attire. Take a $20 and had the boss $10
That's what I'm thinking, I don't drink anyway cause it effects gains, I just want to be that big buff scary looking dude who can make people silent by staring at them
I've done years of karate now and can handle myself, plus I was bullied alot growing up so I have heaps of rage inside me that I can let out
People are saying you can't be violent but every club I've been to the bouncers rule with an iron fist, don't like it too bad you are getting thrown out, when the cops come they all vouch for each other
>taking drugs to work
how fricking cucked
People take Adderall for science jobs, what's the difference? At least I'm achieving something
>deng's face when you say he can't come into the club even though he is celebrating getting bail for the burglary when he beat an elderly couple so bad they have brain injuries.
You dream of becoming a pub janny who gets yelled at by drunks? And you need help becoming this?
Absolute dumbest c**t I've seen on IST and you've had some fierce competition.
And if you're working the door and not inside none of the female attention matters. You'd be a lot better off becoming a DJ if that's your kind of thing.
