Imagine deadlifting 1000 lbs but not being able to do a single pull up.

Maybe he's not actually strong, just good at deadlifting.

Thor is such a dramaqueen b***h. If only eddy wasnt an egotistic dumbass he could have trained properly and beat thors ass in the ring.

They both are sometimes pathetic about it, but Eddie is still the deadlift king for me and his guide on how to do them fixed all my issues with it and i stopped feeling them in the back too much.

crossed paths with a skyrim giant at the gym today. wanna say he was 7 feet but he was probably around Thor's height, maybe 1-2 inches taller. didn't get to see any of his lifts sadly.
anyway, the amount of mass required to be that tall and look "full" must be insane.

thank you for reading my blogpost

You can literally die attempting that much weight. When you go this heavy, it's like redlining your cardiovascular system. Things can rupture under the high blood pressure. He probably wanted to mitigate risk as much as possible while still gunning for the record.

Who cares if it's one kg more, it's still more. Are you saying that weights should only be even numbers?

that lift was fairly casual, he couldve done another rep and probably should have considering the resulting b***hfest

Thor lifted deeper in the Earth's gravity well.
    9.82282 m/s**2 * 501.0 kg is 4923 N.
    9.81414 m/s**2 * 500.0 kg is 4907 N.
16 N difference, closer to 501.6 kg if Thor lifted in Leeds. Or a mere 499.4kg if Eddie lifted in Reykjavik.

There is no such thing as gravity you moron.

Do me a favour and Describe what gravity is. (Not its effects).

Gravity isn’t real and our reality is based is just buoyancy, prove me wrong.

I honestly don't get why he went for 501, he's just inviting people to make these kinds of comments and call his world record into question. By the way he pulled the weight up, I reckon he could have done 510 or 515. The home gym argument would hold a lot less weight (lel) if he beat the previous record by 10-15 kgs instead of a measly 1 (one) kilogram.

Breaking the record by 1kg was supposed to make Eddie seethe, Thor is just that petty.
And it did make him seethe. He's still butthurt about it. And he's butthurt about losing a boxing match to him.
Thor's life is 50% about making Eddie lose sleep at night.

      4907 N/9.77963 m/s**2 = 501.75 kg
Eddie should have pulled in Mexico City. Same force, 501.75kg moved instead of 500.0 kg. More mass than Thor pulled!

It looked like he could pull 505kg on that day. But he did 501kg just to make Eddie seethe. Someone is going to do 505kg at some point, but Eddie will forever be mad over that this happened.
