The cause was excess water, not insufficient salt. Simply consuming more salt is not a good idea because you're still flushing out other electrolytes when drinking water excessively.

Yes. An idea that is generally correct, but ran to the point of absurdity by people who don't know any better and fall for whatever but push it like gospel for some clout from other morons or fat fricks pretending to be healthy while drinking sugar water.

Distilled water WILL frick you up, but most water you buy or get out of a tap is not distilled. It still has minerals, aka electrolytes. The only time you need to really worry about replenishment is for intense/sustained physical activity, and working outside in hot weather. Most people don't need the extra sugar because they're already fat fricks, or lazy fricks who aren't working out hard enough to actually require it.

I know he said plain. I was trying to say plain water is fine, it's the distilled water that was bad, and whoever wrote that was an idiot and got the 2 mixed up. Like any water without added "electrolytes" is distilled or something.

That account does seem fricked. If it's anything at all like that post, it's got to be pretty much all instance schizo garbage. I have no plans to check it out or get twitter, so I will take your word for it.

Your body isn't supposed to be sterile, you're actually right about that. You have biocapacitors that hold onto things for a reason, but you're also supposed to clean them, hence fasting, and just drinking clean water will do that. The whole point is just to not let anything sit stagnant, just like you need to move all of your muscles to be healthy. Just train being able to function at a high capacity in any state you find yourself in.

Overconsumption of anything is unhealthy. The average person is not at risk of water poisoning. Only people working in extreme temperatures, athletes, and the sick need to focus on replenishing lost minerals and nutrients.

Drinking tap water essentially because river water is chock full of electrolytes and even had enough magnesium and b12 where it could counter balance some lacking dietary needs.

Going to college and noticing girls taking 100+ sips of water from the same water bottle was so strange to me.

My girlfriend used to drink insane amounts, just constantly sipping. I called her out on it and she said she wasn't really aware of doing it but it was also like an addiction.

water-drinking is an american activity. they have to constantly drink water because their diet of excess salt, processed grains, and sauteed muscle meats dries them out. that, and they are gluttonous: they need constant oral stimulation. if you tell them this the cognitive dissonance will cause them to lash out, as we are seeing itt

"Water" - or, as I like to call it: "Liquid israelite." If you're not eating raw organ meats and bone marrow for hydration, then you ain't white!

    >drinking water is bad
Yes. That's why I exclusively drink Coke Zero. It has all the benefits of water but a superior taste and it does a better job of keeping my body refreshed and working at peak capacity. When I see a water drinker I see a pleb.
