On some people finasteride and dutasteride don't work.
You're one of the unlucky ones, it seems.
For me dutasteride did a good job of halting hair loss.
You can try using dutasteride and finasteride at the same time, people on reddit have progress posts where they have good results.
i just have seen this happen before and i don't want to waste my time anymore. of coruse i took minoxidil with both and also ketokonazol shampoo. still actively balding. ffs.
Dutasteride is brutal and some people might suffer an endless shedding.
It is not uncommon for dutasteride to make things worse, and even when things go the way they should the shedding you go through is devastating and it can last some time with your hairline seemingly receding, the minimum being 3 months.
I am 1 month on it (for the second time) and it has been bad at the temples
If you want results just use that with oral minoxidil, this is how I was 1 month into dut and minoxidil oral vs 4 months.
From month 3 onwards I was losing 0 hairs
I really wish they'd ban elective plastic surgery, makeup and pills like this that hide your genetic faults. Everyone should know all of your problems at a glance so they don't end up breeding a dud.
i guess he means that by 6 months your system will be completely saturized. or maybe he's just a moron but if you think about it it might make accidentally sense.
if you are not at the 6th month mark yet, it means the medicine still hasn't reached its peak amounts in your body yet.
I started losing massive amounts of hair and the dumbfrick I was back then I didn't care, but when I got my M shape I started using fin and still lost tons of hair, I was on fin for about a year and losing massive amounts of hair with slowly recceeding hairline(my brother got bald in 8-12 months) and for a few weeks I accepted the fate and jumped off fin only to find out that it was keeping my hair in place, I lost so much hair I was practically bald on my sides so I panicked and started to properly do it this time.
I urge you to get a 5% minoxidil for the night and foam for the morning, a microneedling adjustable stamp, a shampoo and ofc keeping the pills. I personally gave up on the shampoo but I still have my gains. After 6 months of minoxidil and needling I have enough to only use it once per day before sleeping. Oral min is good if you don't have much body hair. I'm still fighting it and slowly coming back. People claim that being bald doesn't matter but it's all bullshit.
continued.
Don’t underestimate antifungal shampoos and general scalp health. Change your sheets and don’t live in shitty buildings. Get a low heat hair dryer. Even when I’m doing the full stack in , my scalp will slowly begin to feel irritated about 6 days after Ketoconazole. I’ve never had dandruff in my life, but something is going on. The pattern is that Ketoconazole will reset the irritation. My hair and scalp feels weaker exactly where this irritation occurs. My hair was great until I moved into a bad apartment. Around that time I also experimented with no shampoo.
topical antiandrogen with a binding affinity for the Androgen receptor equal to Testosterone which has the possibility to block testosterone and completely blocks all other androgens with a lower binding affinity than test on the scalp.
Thanks for the info. Sounds like it wouldn’t block DHT
it blocks the androgen receptor itself, but derek from MPMD mentioned the problem is that DHT has a multiple times tronger binding affinity for the AR than RU58841, so he basically conclided that to get full coverage you want to take both RU and fin, the former to block test (which does kill the hair follicles only much slower) and the latter to block DHT, seems like overkill but whom knows
Correct.
RU has the same binding affinity of testosterone which has 8 times less binding aficionado than DHT, If you block DHT you still have plenty other androgens on the scalp that can worsen your loss including an increase in scalp testosterone due to finasteride and dut.
They complement each other to remove all androgens from your scalp

you might be just shedding, the weak hair is being push out and stronger hair will grow instead. keep using it for atleast 6-8 months
it is receding though.
You fricked boy
Your head and brow is gaining mass. No need to worry because that is a good thing.

If you're losing hair on dut then DHT isn't your problem
what else can it be though? all my male relatives on my mother side are fricking bald. one even started balding at 14.
I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism and it was pulling the hair out of my temples, went away within 2 weeks of being diagnosed and treated
Get your blood pressure checked, eat some biotin, get more protein in your diet, and use an anti fungal shampoo for starters.
If you’re still losing hair in 6 months just embrace it.
also i have been getting way more body hair at the same time as losing head hair, which is what dht does. it's jst that it's not stopping.
>2 months
not enough time, the shedding phase can last up to 6 smonths, wait till then to determine whether its working or not
It takes longer to see results
But you should've just gone with finasteride
i tried that for 1.5 years and it didn't do shit.
Dude then you're probably a non-responder. Give it another 6 months on dut but if that doesn't do it then just accept it.
try oral minoxadil too
fin or dut literally takes a year or more to stabalize and draw conclusions from but homies be panicking after taking it for 2 months.
Chill. Add in min as well for regrowth

watch Derek MPMD vids on hairloss, he talks about other options.
or just accept that it's over and get a hair transplant from turkey
i'll just rope if shit is still bad in 6 months.
Hair transplants still require fin or dut to work.
like honestly im already getting wrinkles in my mid twenties and i have shit genes so why even bother

absolutely brainwormed that's a the same hairline, no notable recession at all and the only difference is the angle and how it's pulled back
When your hair is pulled back the recession is much more notable, the fact that while pulling back looks much better than the one on top says a lot
it's literally just the angle lol, top pic is looking down more
pro-tip: the human skull is not a 2 dimensional rectangle
you people are mentally ill
Oral min destroys your heart.
hormone and peat gays
Does pregnenolone work for skin and hair at the temples?
pls respond
when there's nothing left to do look at alternative theories

So let me get this straight.
Dut to prevent further hair loss.
And min for regrowth?
homie duta takes like 3-4 months to start working bc the half like is like 6 months iirc.
half life has nothing to do with how long a drug takes to work

mmm yum yum yum, changing the chemical homeostasis of your body! what can go wrong!
post boner

Dutasteride
oral Minoxidil
Ketoconazole
microneedling with Derminator 2
You’ve got something else going on if this doesn’t regrow your hair.

Look into RU58841. Blocks some other stuff that affects hairloss that might be your issue.
What other stuff?

Where do you even get RU?
im hopping on fin at 0.25 a day
if it works it works, if it wont it wont
