    what are some carb sources that are very easily digestable? i can't workout as intensively without carbs but they cause problems on my gut.
    i tried oats yesterday and had terrible stomachache all day.

      Just gotta experiment and find what's right for you. I don't usually have any issues with digesting carbs so I can't offer much advice here, but I really like potatoes and rice.

        id go with white rice but gotta ask how you're cooking the beans? most people have less issues when the beans are soaked and drained to be cooked with fresh water. also they gotta be tender

        No one "hates" it, it's just deemed useless because it has no nutritional value. It's just carbs with very little protein and no micronutrient value.

        If you're not poor, you have way better things to eat.

    Keto seems like way too big of a pain in the ass and way too expensive to try doing long-term. The whole "keto flu" thing where you feel like dogshit while your body adjusts to not having glucose was the major thing that put me off trying it.

    Used to try to eat a more low-carb diet (approximately 25-30% of my calories from carbs) but my lifts have gone up and I have way more energy in the gym now that I've upped my carb intake to around 45% and eat a high carb meal before lifting, and I'm still losing weight.

        White rice. It's the least inflammatory source of carbs. I tolerate it perfectly compared to wheat.
