    Usually I'll have two or three fried eggs for breakfast, depending on what I have on the side, or sometimes I'll make scrambled eggs, a guy on IST told me about a great scramble where you chop a jalapeno up and sautee a bit and then scramble your eggs with that, tastes great

      Don't boil them. Get an egg cooker. They should all have an option for soft boiled eggs. It makes it effortless and less of a chore.

          No, but peeling fresh eggs can be, especially when soft-boiled. An egg cooker (steaming) is so much more convenient, more consistent and the eggs are much easier to peel. When you're going through at least a dozen a day (like everyone here should), that means you're generally eating fresh eggs. Fresh eggs can be a fricking hassle to peel when just boiled on the stove, and temperature and elevation inconsistencies can also result in over-cooking very easily, at least with hard-boiled eggs. Egg cookers are so cheap that there's no reason not to have one.

        ANON I LOVE YOU! I just went to the Walmart to buy one of these and it make perfect eggs! All this time I’ve been struggling to make eggs. They come out ok but the membrane keeps sticking to the egg and it’s DISGUSTING! With this egg cooker it slides right off. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

    I "hard boil" eggs in a steamer with much less water than needed to submerse them. Then I cool em slightly, peel, then slice them in half. Put a little mayo and mustard on them, a dash of paprika, sometimes a little hot sauce, then bada bing bada boom ez mode deviled eggs.

    Can someone explain the real science behind cholesterol, hdl and ldl? I started eating a bunch of eggs each day and got my stuff checked and my levels are all fricked up, high chol now, low hdl and high ldl.

      The mainstream thesis is that cholesterol gums up your arteries, causes heart disease and kills you, therefore it should be minimised
      (the adjustment to the thesis suggests that only a certain kind of cholesterol is bad and the other kind is fine, but in general applies the above thesis just the same)

    Currently going to bed after day 3 of eating at least 4 eggs a day.

    Think I'm gonna keep this up lads, but don't feel like eating omelette for a fourth day in a row.

    Think tomorrow I'm gonna add sliced softboiled eggs to some stew leftovers I have. The stew itself was honestly pretty meh when I made it, maybe the eggs will add that piece that was missing.
