Is high protein intake correlated with lower anxiety levels?

not getting enough protein can cause anxiety.

Like 2 weeks. I've lost 35 pounds since July but just eating whatever I wanted. So it's been kind of slow. I wanna lose 20 pounds in the last 10 weeks of the year though

Try like six years...and counting. Goyslop addiction never goes away. You need to actively fight it for the rest of your life.

        >You need to actively fight it for the rest of your life.
I found cutting out fluoride really helps with this. I haven't really had cravings for goyslop since I did, and even when I've had it (i.e. I'm out with friends or extended family, not a normal thing), I can put it down real fast and the cravings have not come back.

I am 6'2", 97kg and I started my cut 2 days ago. Somewhere between 25% - 30% bodyfat, considerable musculature. I sprint for 1 mile every morning, workout once or twice per week till absolute muscular failure for 1,1 hour (upper body, for legs I only train hamstrings 1 set till failure because my glutes/quads/calves are already very developed and I'd look like a moron wearing jeans if they grew any more).

I am cutting at 2000 calories, which is around my BMI. I already feel like shit. Should I up the calories? I want to leanmax fast even if it means sacrificing some muscule.

      6/7 lifting routine.
Be always on caloric Deficit, but reach 1.2g/lbs of protein intake.
Spit and throw away all vegetable oils; replace with olive, peanut or coconut oil, whichever is cheaper for you.
Continue your sprints, and congratulations, it is hard to get into sprinting like that everyday, you clearly have the discipline and mentality to pull through and make it. 1-2Hs a day in the 6/7 split is fine. You can follow Arnold's routine which's been public for a long while now or check the sticky.

As a follow up. Literally what morons here are saying its true.
Protein is the fricking gear that makes your body work, not enough protein makes your body work badly.
All processes for growth, thinking and living require protein

You are dependent on an insulin spike to feel good and that feeling is a distraction from your underlying anxiety

Your microbiome literally dictates to your brain what it wants. You've cultivated a bad biome by feeding it goyslop, so when you take away their food they retaliate.
Push through it, soon you'll starve them out and feed the microbiome that thrives on healthy food

First of all, define healthy food and slop
Secondly, in both cases you're starving yourself unless you're a 90lb woman
Of course an extra 200 calories are going to make you feel better; YOU'RE LITERALLY STARVING
