I tried everything and the best approach that works for me is eating clean 80~% of the time and the rest is "fun" calories. Whenever I cut I just remove the fun calories for a few months and I start losing weight. Just eating shit gets me depressed and only eating clean is mind numbing and boring, also doesnt give me better results in the long run.
