eating just butter for a week straight

I couldn't find any testimonials from people eating JUST butter for a week straight on the webs. What would happen to my body if I eat nothing but a brick of kerrygolds butter a day for week?

It's called a fat fast and I suggest ghee for better results, as the galactose in butter will block the energy from fat and cause insulin spiking, albeit small amounts, but it will stunt your fat loss, as insulin is the fat storing hormone. Heck, just hugging sugar air in the baking aisle will make you secrete insulin in preparation. Smells can make you gain fat.

Huffing* but yeah, bathing in sweet smells will trigger insulin to release.

You'll be perfectly fine, probably lose some weight, likely resolve some health issues like achy joints, if you have them. But you'll be hating every moment of it, kek. I mean, that's nasty. I'm carnivore, very well fat-adapted, and I can't imagine eating all that fat without protein. Really, you could just fast. Even if you're around 10% bodyfat, you still have enough fat on your frame to last you 30 to 40 days without any ill effects. If you're gonna eat just fat, why not eat the fat on your body?

      I've done it

I did it for a week once, the only difference being that I had a cup of coffee with the butter.

Felt virtually exactly the same as water fasting but since I ate something I was shitting liquid shit maybe once a day. It's not easier than water fasting so I don't see any reason to do it instead of just water fasting.

Really appreciate you 3 for seriously answering my question. Have a blessed day anons!

The rest of the anons ITT I hope that you will wake up magically gaining 50 pounds next morning.

You are going to get gallstones if you do this regularly - which btw is the absolute worse physical pain you can feel short of getting skinned alive or burning to death. Imagine a heart attack that lasts 10 hours then you wake up and it happens again for another 10 hours. Rinse repeat.

.t I did this dumbass shit to lose weight
