Tried to find some jellied eels when I visited London. Every eel shop I found had these huge lines of gay onions tourists around the block (I guess I was one too). Weird that it's apparently some trendy thing now. Guess I'll never know if it's good.
It's all the starving vegans looking for alternative protein sources
How are eels vegan?
Shhh don't tell the vegans but those kebab shops and kiosks where they sell eels lie to their basedboy onions customers. They dip the eel meat in oil so it's covered in batter then they pretend that it's just an odd shaped hash brown.
Not kosher unfortunately
eel sushi is my favorite. Definitely will now look for some eel recipes for my dinners now, thank you for the inspiration
>eating the snakes
jews are laughing.
What did Cyema see?
They're close to going extinct, would not eat.
don't they just farm these
smoked eel is supposed to be tasty and a delicacy here
electric eels have a shockingly high amount of protein
*Groan*
Unagi is amazing. Dont care about protein but if you get a donburi with a nice sauce(this is key) it can be amazing. I have also had bad eel though, it definitely exists. It can be boney, though they are thin.
ayo dis homie never ate unagi and it shows
My old man reckoned that jellied eel was the greatest food on the face of the earth. He would cheerfully eaten it every day if he could.
Mind you he was also a card-carrying alcoholic that died young from heart failure, so make of it what you will.
bro just eat normal food
I wanna try American eel, like the pilgrims and natives ate, but I gotta fish it myself cause no one sells it.
>Japanese Eel
marinated and carefully charcoal grilled for maximum deliciousness
>British Eel
boiled in jelly, served cold
British cuisine, not even once
