I live in Japan so natural disasters are a fact of life.
I'm currently getting ready to move house but when I was stocked up I had:
Water, about 50L of tap of water, and 100 or so aquatabs.
Japanese sports drinks, about 24 bottles.
Instant noodles, maybe 50 packs.
Baked beans. A box... so maybe 30 cans worth.
About 12 cans of spam (half a can plus a can of baked beans is good eatin)
Rice.
Cans of curry, maybe 30x, to eat with the rice
Cans of thai curry, maybe 30x, to eat with the rice
About 50 cans of tuna of varying flavours
Other than that mostly medical supplies and toilet stuff.
I live in Tokyo so even if the big one hits I won't need to go full survivor mode
I also have a gas stove with about 15 bottles of (bombe?) gas for cooking
Low tech rice cooking stuff
A ton of phone batteries and one big battery that I could run my house on for a day or few, if I was stupid enough to waste it instead of ration it
High quality solar radio for emergency stuff
High quality solar lamplight
A helmet (emergency, not military, in case of earthquakes)
Painkillers (various), splints, bandages, bandaids, sutures (bandaid, not sewn), whistle, lighter fluid, compass, antiseptics (various), slings, etc.
I can just imagine an autistic ALT buying 24 aquarius and a stick of karaage from his local konbini and desperately trying to explain his disaster prep to a keigo-speaking minimum wage worker
Stock up on some miso and konbu as well for making soup if shit really gets desperate, Japanese Deenz and kinako for protein might help too
>What are your emergency foods when there’s nothing in the fridge?
ummm anon i just make sure to get food before i run out because i'm not a spaz and have a job
Always have at least eggs in the fridge but... Tuna, rice/quinoa, beans, cashews, almonds, pistachios, peanut butter/almond butter, bananas, avocados, whey protein. I make sure im always stocked.
Ramen is noodles coated in sneed oils and hydrocarbons and covered in phosphate powder and any other chemical compound they can get away with. They could use animal fat and a decent preservative but they use industrial waste instead
Microwave rice pouches and a can of chilli beans.
This shit is so good but I pay for it dearly the next morning.
when i ate these things. i'd add like onions peppers, canned chicken.
>what i added veggies lmao. they are pretty good

What will you do when the power is out?
I hsve solar panels
That will do you so much good when the sun is covered by clouds.
Cereal and water.
Or frozen pizza or chicken nuggets.
2 packs of those bad boys and 500g chicken breast will get u pretty far in the way of protein and tastes great, takes like 10mins to make EZ
Isn't this just negative calories because you just shit it out? Truly a gains goblin
>negative calories
