one of my coworkers disappeared for a few months and came back like 40 pounds lighter, turns out she's actually kinda hot I just couldn't tell with all the fat.

it's already proven being obese does shitty things to your health...I'd take the risk if I was a fat frick with zero willpower (aka most of america)

it's extremely inefficient anyway I read a study and on average the participants went from like 30% bf to 26% on 1 year of semaglutide

            Therapy and antidepressants are popular
They don't even work for a third of patients

That's not what popular means. Nobody wants antidepressants or therapy, they concede to it because its a solution to a problem. People actively ask for ozempic.

It doesn't take any willpower to stuff your mouth with meat and eggs instead of oreos. It's an intelligence problem, fat people are invariably extremely stupid.

the problems with it are already well documented.
      >vomiting
      >starvation effects from people under eating heavily for long periods of time.
All it does is stop your appetite and make it so you vomit if you decide to eat out of habit which trains you to not overeat because the nausia is suicide tier.

No thanks, call me when it's available OTC

Isn’t it amazing that it works simply by reducing appetite, and not for example speeding up metabolism. It just stops fatties from wanting to eat. Really shows the muh genetics are bullshit and it’s all about CICO

Cannot fricking understand why people (especially celebs who have to have people with knowledge telling them how moronic it is) would rather inject themselves with a diabetes medication with tons of sides rather than simply eat less food

Because they're addicted to overeating. Like literal physical addiction dopamine problems in the brain. They'd rather die than eat less.

won’t the people who take this just gain all the weight back once they don’t have a drug to suppress their appetite? they can’t stay on it forever lol it won’t magically fix their weak willpower

Yes. Hams have irreparably damaged their bodies' hunger response by ballooning up in the first place, this is just a bandage fix.

It's not a performance enhancing drug if you can achieve the same effects if not better by just not eating. No matter how hard you work, you'll never have the physique of a roidtroony, in contrast, it doesn't take that much willpower to literally not do ANYTHING, it literally takes less effort to not eat than it does to eat, and from what I've heard about how much weight you actually lose on this drug, it's much more effective to just NOT EAT. At least if you use other performance enhancing drugs like test, you get a benefit that you wouldn't get, with this drug you destroy your body for something that isn't even as effective as not eating.

anon its not about what singular thing is best, its about what wienertail of bullshit you can cobble together to maximise effectiveness in treating your specific needs. modern lifestyles are dogshit, and if you ever get the chance to really live a decent lifestyle for a while youll appreciate just how bad it is for you.

health is inferior to the satisfaction of desire

fatness is disease, its principle in a redirection of impulses that counter the misery of expected behaviour and the needs of life and the fleshy manifestation of habit. fatties eat like addicts take drugs, they need to, its the only thing that keeps them from abject despair. personally, i think GLP-1 agonists should probably come paired with a dose of amphetamines to encourage the formation of active behaviours.
