Don't take advice from moronic memes

You're telling me that the opposite; buying useless shit, jerking off to other dudes fricking, watching attention span deleters, being a sleepless dyel shutin, forming a worldview around the preachings of dudes in makeup on the tv, and being ignorant to the blatant disregard your government has for you is smart?

That doesn't make any sense. Either you watch porn or don't. You lift weights or don't. Spend your money on real shit or bullshit. Go outside or stay. It's like this with all of them. You're following this advice or you're not. There is no nuanced in between here.

Not really, no. There's a whole spectrum between doing and not doing in real life. The point is to not take advice from moronic memes and come to conclusions yourself, like an individual with a mind of its own would.

Nta but you're still wrong regardless of what you thoughts on the meme are. Most of the things in the meme fall on a spectrum. Like the porn one, you don't have to choose between being some autistic no-fap homosexual or some gross coomer than goons out to sissy hypo six hours a day.

Onanism is an abuse of our sexual organs more in line with sodomy and cannot be compared to moderate emissions occuring with natural heterosexual intercourse, which is why it was viewed with contempt by virtually all past Western and non-Western societies.

The major problem usually is not the land (unless its some small country with literally zero space and you can't buy land even if you're a millionaire), its where its located and how you will sustain yourself. Even going 100% off-grid takes time and resources and might even be illegal lmao.
I'm saving up and going to move to the sticks, there's old people and nursing homes even in the smallest towns here and you can get a decent house with some forest for reasonable amount near them, don't even have to take loan if you really squeeze pennies for a few years like I've been doing.

But yeah, its far more difficult vs. 50 years ago and downright impossible depending on where you live.

Even in densely poster yuro countries you can still buy reasonably affordable poor quality land in remote areas. But what the frick is the point? You can't really grow anything on it, you can't build on it, you can get power, water, sewerage or road access. If you really want to lean into some off grid lifestyle then fair enough, but most people would rather live in an apartment, wagie and get doordash than work 14+ hour days cutting wood, tilling soil, herding hens, milking goats, etc to live in mild discomfort like a 19th century Russian peasant.

This meme is like communism (IN THEORY). I assume you must be very young and haven't tried these things. Most men above a certain age wouldn't even have TikTok, plenty lift weights, sleep plenty, go outside, don't watch the news, don't trust the govt and own land. Porn though is ubiquitous and has been throughout time. In your father's day it was penthouse magazine, in his fathers' day it was nudie playing cards. Before photos it was drawings. There has never been a time when men haven't indulged in viewing the female form whenever they could. Either way none of these things are essential for a fulfilling life. You need to feel successful, have status, close connections with friends/family, love and be loved, etc to live a fulfilling life. Add in a purpose and something to look forward to.

Are you talking from experience? If you are enjoying a life as a housekeeper - that's cool, hats off. But if you're not, you definitely trying to convince yourself that I'm moronic. And that's not based, it's cringe.
Who is more moronic - me, the guy who is talking from experience, or a guy who is trying to convince others that owning a land will make you a better man? The answer - it probably won't. It's just a land and a garden, and a house. It's not a miracle or something.

        >don't trust the gov

This is the most moronic part of the image. The only way you can "own" land is by the government holding a record that it belongs to you and enforcing it through the legal system. If you truly have no faith in the government then that ownership is meaningless.

      Also
      >don't trust the gov

      Reasonable chuckle.

It really depends on the person, personally the only one I've known that genuinely liked to live with a bit of land and an old self-built house was my dad. He was perfectly happy there growing potatoes, hunting and going to dances, older generation really liked to dance lol.
And I've noticed I have the exact same mindset and I'm yearning for similar lifestyle, I spent so much time planting, sowing, hoeing that it feels just wrong living in the city in an apartment.

But yea, most anons probably would not like it as a permanent lifestyle choice, it can get old fast. As for women, its not impossible, in some regions it might even be a bit easier (at least I've found "farm" women to be far more approachable vs. cities)

        Anonymous

Of course, I was just talking about an average guy who seeks a retreat in the countryside. I know some amazing people living in their private houses - not even farmers - artists, scientists. But it's not for everyone and people should know the odds, so they won't frick themselves with another romantic meme.

          Anonymous

Fair enough and yeah, its not nearly as easy as some meme pictures make it out to be.
I've done farm work, hunting, just living in a remote location and power going out, having to do work in the rain, groceries being a hassle and a half and if you want to go out and have some fun like movies etc. then good luck lol.

Even in densely poster yuro countries you can still buy reasonably affordable poor quality land in remote areas. But what the frick is the point? You can't really grow anything on it, you can't build on it, you can get power, water, sewerage or road access. Well my point was to get a reasonably priced house/land for fraction of the prices vs. cities.
I mean if some anons genuinely think they can buy a piece of land and just live there IST & IST style then yea, its fricking dumb, illegal and stupid in most cases.
          >but most people would rather live in an apartment, wagie and get doordash than work 14+ hour days cutting wood, tilling soil, herding hens, milking goats, etc to live in mild discomfort like a 19th century Russian peasant.
Heh, that is exactly how my dad, his dad lived, also lived a bit like that and will "return to monke" so to speak.

But its not easy and you gotta be a bit on the spectrum to really like to live like that when you could just stay a neet in the city (here its very easy and you get a pretty decent level of comfort for nothing). Or just go to school and get some comfy job.

Dude will legitimately probably commit suicide at some point. find what you like if it fits a few criteria

1 you can do it alone
2 you can do it when you are 70
        3 it "impresses" normies
        4 its cheap
5 its something small you can do in one room

good examples are things like glassblowing, making terrariums, playing the harmonica, breeding animals/plants, knowing about animals/plants, being the mushroom guy, trains, planes, homebrew whiskey, ship in a bottle building, literally anything

It’s not a "psyop" but /misc/ often has a ridiculous fantasy notion of a homesteading lifestyle.

I dunno it's way easier to be comfy anywhere other than a city. Sorry you took the bait and now you can't afford a car or whatever.

I’m just saying it’s never as bad as online bait wants you to believe. There are advantages and disadvantages to both city life and country living.

Unless you are a multi millionaire cities are an absolute meme. You don't have to live in the middle of the fricking woods. Anyone that isn't moronic realizes commuter distance from cities is infinitely better in every possible way.

It's usually some 20 year old Stacy using her dad's credit card that pretends cities arent fricking terrible (and even she knows it's not safe). Everyone else is like one argument away from stabbing someone at all times and worried about "hustling" enough to make rent with their 6 roommates.

Well to be fair, country living and homesteading is also made way easier by having money. The bottom line is being rich makes everything better and easier.

                >commuter distance from cities is infinitely better in every possible way.
If I have to commute more than 20 minutes to work in any direction then no amount of money is worth it.

Its understandable, we went too far with technology and too fast. Our monkey brains can't keep up and the constant 24/7 barrage of useless information just cooks our heads. We start to yearn for simpler life, we start romanticizing and making meme pictures, threads and talking how we want to grow or hunt our own food.

I think its just built-in instincts and our brain trying to protects us in a very primitive and rough way. "go innawoods, return to monke, be happy".
Of course it doesn't work like that and most people fricking hate living in the middle of nowhere with no people, women, friends, spotty internet, electricity going out when its a bit windy and there being a million little things you need to do all the time to keep things running.

Dude it's all pointless, lifting, working, self improving, going out with friends, getting women, everything. You will never make it and you will never live the life you thought you would live.
The younger generations are realizing early how fricked they are compared to the older gens.
Things weren't like this ten years ago, but they are now and they will only get worse.

Countryside vs. Urban Life is dumb because you can easily do both:
    >Pod in the city close to your 6-fig wagie job
    >Dacha cabin in the rural forestlands to spend weekends or months of vacation time.
It's totally doable to live modestly with both. You don't need a mcmansion in the woods, nor a high class condo in the city.
