This is true but fat only gets stored if there's carbs, if you eat carbs the body will store the excess fat consumed and burn the carbs. So going no carb or no fat will make you lean, but one is nutritionally deficient (no fat) and the other isn't. Fat you eat is fat you wear is a good thing, I want my genetically determined amount of bodyfat from the fat I eat as well as the necessary fat for manufacturing cells instead of the body having to make it, not to mention fat soluble vitamins and fatty acids you aren't getting and the fact that fat is an important energy source. Yes, but carbs are less satiating than fat, so you will eat more carbs in total resulting in greater fat storage.
