Excessive dreaming

I dream for many hours every night and it's impacting my health and sleep. It hasn't stopped for multiple months. I'm conscious 22/7

Discuss dreams and how they impact your sleep and fitness. Have you ever dreamt of lifting?

Assuming you don't have a sleep disorder you only remember your dreams when you get woken up. That means at regular intervals you're waking up and going back to sleep before you fully notice.

thats more or less how i used to sleep but now I remember 5 or more dreams chained together every time I wake up. Hours long. Sometimes I'm conscious after a dream ends and another one starts and I'm chilling in an empty void for a short time. sleep paralysis, wakeup hallucinations and vivid dreams

I was tested for sleep conditions of the airways and neurological ones lately but nothing showed up. (no narcolepsy)

i’ve gotten 3 over the past several months, all from waking up early for some coffee then returning to bed. only happens when i sleep on my back too. it’s still difficult enacting the level of control that i want over my dreams, i have to not hyperfixate on little details or change too much of my surroundings at once. kinda have to work with the dream that i’m given and only allow my brain to render as much detail as needed. been able to float around, change little things in my environment, and am beginning to use magic. also, if you become lucid you should find an actor in the dream and tell them what that “none of this is real”, weird and scary stuff might happen

I've started taking longer breaks from weed and the sheer intensity of my dreams has been fricking astounding to me, with almost all of them being about women. It's really been impacting my mental these past couple of months as I've never felt this lonely before, suddenly my body's acutely aware of these lack of companion signals in an almost primitive manner. I try not to overreact to it or anything as I'm well aware of the surreal and divine nature of dreams, but never have I gotten a signal this clear.

When I was younger I used to lucid dream a lot, need to re-learn it as well.

I'm feeling generous, Here is a google doc with every worth while material written on lucid dreaming, use this as your means for learning. Avoid all Youtube videos. Start with MILD, its easy. Then incorporate awareness, makes reality checks obsolete so you don't look like a moron. The rest is up to you. Figure out what works for you. Everyone is different. when I do that I usually hug that girl and tell her I loved the time we spent together and we bond a little more before the dream ends

Your consciousness doesn't require rest, your body does. Stop worrying about it.

      >Your consciousness doesn't require rest, your body does. Stop worrying about it.

I cant properly rest anymore, and having the most terrifying or positive things happen to me at random everytime I'm asleep is scary. cant even take 15min naps without dreams

      >do the bunnies play a major role ever?

sometimes girls turn into bunnies, or they have the same personality traits, or they're bunny girls (im not a furry)

I've never done drugs but supposedly stoners don't dream

You don't need lucidity to have erotic or wet dreams. or get raped in d. I doubt real sex is half as good as sex in dreams.

I once had a dream where I got a goth girlfriend, but she turned into a cat towards the end.
I more recently had a dream of a super fit tomboy who I think I upset somehow, and she turned into a ferret.
Why are all my dream gfs shapeshifters who turn into small fuzzy animals?

gf ran away and turned into a rabbit. when I find her again shes a rabbit person.
another time I was babysitting a thumb sized girl. because she's so small shes called a "mousegirl". I'm so proud of her and when I imagine her all grown up a giant image of grey bunny staring at me pops into my head. It was comical even in the dream

You don’t happen to be overdosing nicotine before/during bed? At one point when I was in therapy my therapist thought I was scizophrenic because of my wild and extremely detailed dreams that I couldn’t differentiate from reality. My doctor later told me it was because I had been wearing nicotine patches to bed. Stopped doing that and it instantly stopped.

      >You don’t happen to be overdosing nicotine before/during bed?

I believe anon is stating that the young woman in the image is very beautiful, though I must admit I don't quite understand the implications of the second half of his statement. I would also like some clarification

I have multiple dreams every night. My dreams are always very strange and often beautiful and other times I’m walking through hell or killing people. It doesn’t bother me. It’s like I get a free bespoke movie every night
