They are filled with fake meat and shit additives most of the time. You can get hot dogs that aren’t shit but you have to be actively searching for them. Normal hot dogs are shit
red paste substance that is a mixture of flavoring, water, Hispanices, preservatives, exogenous hormones, etc. It is mixed with ground/blended meats to make a slurry mixture that is then shaped and cooked into a shit tier hot dog. Real hot dogs/sausages are just different cuts of meat ground together and cooked inside of an edible skin without all the other trash
>manufacturer put anything he could to fill them >sometimes even dead animals >nutrient value written has nothing to do with actual content >everything of low value that was on the animal in one package >onions additive, coloring, preservatives etc
The worst of meat.
Dead animals, as in: died a while ago, but their meat was never good enough for normal consumption.
They shove that meat in, when they have nowhere to send it to in hopes it won't be noticed.
t. local scandal about a meat processing plant
The pigs used in them are fed a high PUFA diet to fatten them, this PUFA ofcourse ends up in the meat and therefore modern sausages are highly unsaturated and will cause acute and long term chronic inflammation, disease and death. Beef sausages should be fine.
I don't need to explain to you why shit tier Walmart goyslopsages are bad for you but even if you get actual sausages made from organ meat or just actual meat they aren't "great" for you because you're just eating like 40% fat.
Would you eat a steak and then slightly less than half of that same steak as pure lard and say that's good for you?
In theory you're probably right
If you make hotdogs on your own with a meat grinder and case it yourself I don't think they'd be bad for you. Hotdogs in grocery stores are nowhere near that wholesome
A local butcher is great for this. Mine makes some amazing fucking hotdogs and sausages, great stuff. Combine that with a local bakery for some fresh buns and its gonna be a delicious fucking meal.

Organ meats are good for you. You should eat some liver.
Nitrates, mostly. They are good, because they prevent botulism, but they aren't good for your guts.
