    In reality, its the opposite. Your body doesn't repair itself unless it goes into a state of autophagy, which only occurs when fasting. Fat ass people who eat constantly are the ones that die from Cardovascular issues, not people who fast.

      They are talking about an 8 hour feeding window, which is 16 hours of fasting. Autophagy only starts to kick in at 20-24 hours, and you need longer to get it at decent levels.

    As has been pointed out on every other board this has been posted on, this isn't an actual study, it's an analysis of self reported data the CDC collects for general purposes. The problem is that it doesn't exclude those with existing medical conditions that suppress appetite. Intermittent Fasting wasn't a common diet during the time period covered so what it's picking up on are people who having wasting type illnesses that find it difficult to eat even once a day, much less three or more times each day.
    But this isn't surprising coming from the American Heart Association, which sells use of its logo to food manufacturers. Restricting yourself to an eight hour eating window just means skipping breakfast as lunch and dinner both can fit in that eating window. So is it any surprise that the AHA, which has its logo plastered over many breakfast cereals, is against people skipping breakfast?

      Guess what? My most recent blood work came back all normal on a fasting diet consisting of low carbs, high fat and moderate protein. Normal blood pressure and healthy weight.

      AHA is modern day snake oil. Once you become fasting pilled, you realize that the mainstream government and institutional supported nutritional recommendations are nothing more than propaganda designed to pacify and keep the mass populace dumb and unhealthy.

    The only thing to be concerned about when fasting is if your body makes too many ketones, your blood will congalgulate and clog up your arteries and heart. But that almost never happens.
    Also if you do a long fast (Over 10 days) and you immediately eat slop you can actually get a heart attack.

    I wonder how many of you anons ever even fasted for a few days. Longest I gone I think was 5 or 6 days. It is hard for sure. I think I could go 14 days if I put my mind to it but it would absolutely be a struggle no doubt. With the standard American diet we are accustomed to even over a day feels like hell.

    Just now I felt the urge to eat and its only been almost a day here for me.
