Why do you bench? Benching is not the optimal way to train chest and can be completely skipped/bypassed yet most anons bench, to hit 2pl8 for their mental checkpoints.
If you train Calisthenics then doing more muscle ups is your mental checkpoint

do regressions, i.e. simplified versions >eccentrics: find a way to start up in the over-bar position, and lower yourself down slowly. This will build the strength to do the concentric >use bands to assist the movement. Most people who can do a good pullup set can do a muscle up this way >do lots of heavily weighted pullups using a weight belt. This will build the explosive strength necessary for the muscleup >look up technique videos. Muscle ups are NOT pullups, they are more of a pullover movement like you do with DBs or bars laying down. It's an arcing movement, not an up-and-down movement. Technique and understanding in this way are essential and if you just try to pull yourself up in a straight line like most ppl do with pullups, you'll never do a muscleup

2. using explosive pullup motion to give yourself momentum - you didn't perform the exercise
3. actually using your shoulders in a controlled motion to lift yourself over the bar - this one is hard as shit
