Most of histories greatest men were "manlets" you brainlet lanklet homosexual. Less energy went into developing your brain, very clear to see.
Hiro Hiro, Hitler, Alexander the Great, both Carnegie brothers, Einstein, Napoleon, I could sit here and go on. All insurmountably greater than anyone in your lineage, and smarter, put together.
Yet..all "manlets"? The truth is, lanklets envy shorter guys for typically being smarter, higher IQ.
I can do reverse lunges with 26kg on each arm for 6 reps and I've also done BSS with 35kg on each arm for 5.
However, both have shit carryover to squats, unless you squat low bar. They grow your ass and are overrated for quad growth, which was what I was aiming for.
If you only have dumbbells and want quads, do step ups. No matter how bad your technique gets, your quads will grow
leaning forward as in looking down? because that's what I was doing and it had started looking almost like a deadlift >do more than 5 reps
hypertrophy is the exact same in the 4-35 rep range assuming a set is taken to failure.
if youre that unbalanced you can try this, use a big stick or baseball bat, whatever, to balance yourself. you just have to hold all the weight in one hand which gets kind of annoying

replaced regular back squats with bulgarian split squats. no more lower back pain and better leg development. I have better growth in my quads from a pair of 35kg dumbbells than I had from 130kg barbell squats.
My gym doesn't have enough free space to do walking lunges without walking into people stretcher or doing bodyweight stuff on mats. and doing them in place feels weird
I always fall over either to the left or to the right whenever I do lunges, like I'm a Wibbly Wobbly Wonder. My balance is totally fricked. Anyone know what might be causing this?
I put off doing these for so long then finally stopped being a b***h. The suffering is worth it though, great gains in both size and balance, and going to full failure isn't dangerous like other lower body lifts. I feel like there has been some minor carryover into my squats too, but that might just be in my head.
>sorts men from boys
Are they (walking lunges) really worse than barbell squats?
>worse than barbell squats
I mean in terms of suffering?
the oxygen debt isn't as large but you can actually go to true failure as many times as you want until you can't even walk anymore
lmao enjoy your bubble butt i'm sure the gym gays will love pounding your cheeks
>didn't mention his B cup breasts
spotted the gymcel
> OP here, I'm actually a gymlet afraid of doing real exercises
enjoy having a big and strong lower body? yes I will thank you.
this guy looks like a manlet
someone estimate his height please
6'2"
6'3

About 4.5 dumbbells. CAP 100 lb dumbbells are 16.7 inches long, figure they are roughly the same size. So that would be about 6'3".
I fricking hate lunges.

BSS when leaning forward are great quad builders.
Try doing more than 5 reps if you want hypertrophy.

Did Rippetoe tell you that?
Paul Carter actually.
i will do 36
I didn't a twenty minute leg workout and was sore for a week.
Of course I don't do leg workouts as they don't matter.
my knees are too fricked for this
it unfricks your kness, just start with no weight, or do it on a raised surface (ie back foor on floor and front foot on a bench)
How do you do that without falling to the side
This. Is there a trick or is it just balance/skill?
no
yes
if youre that unbalanced you can try this, use a big stick or baseball bat, whatever, to balance yourself. you just have to hold all the weight in one hand which gets kind of annoying
Or lower the weight, build up
bruh i fall doing bodyweight lunges there's no hope
homie, frick lunges
I'll do the lunges but nothing will ever make me enjoy them.
bss + zercher squat is the king squatting combination
back squat is a powerlard meme
I prefer barbell lunges since it requires more stabilization
Were lunges not a part of PE for you guys growing up? I remember doing a set of 10 each side as a warm up in elementary school.

>db lunges
literally babby mode
lunges are for pussies lmao. do some split squats you woman
My gym doesn't have enough free space to do walking lunges without walking into people stretcher or doing bodyweight stuff on mats. and doing them in place feels weird
>filters the rest.
>correction:
I have never seen anyone do.either of these
Damn good filter, wouldn’t you say.
It at least filters my shitty knees
I always fall over either to the left or to the right whenever I do lunges, like I'm a Wibbly Wobbly Wonder. My balance is totally fricked. Anyone know what might be causing this?
only doing machines, no free weight lower body exercises.
I don't use machines. I have a home gym.
