I was going to say where'd you get a 40% incline treadmill. I could only find one model that went over 15% and it was overpriced with horrible reviews.
3.5mph / standard stride is the most calorically efficient movement, you should adjust speed to a light jog and incline to ideal heart rate if you want a long run of high caloric burn
This is incredible. So just 2 hours and you are literally burning 2388 calories each day. You'd be slim in no time, even if you eat a lot. This would change my life.
>stairmaster
holy autism
You literally have stairs outside. Just walk up and down the actual stairs.
Imagine spending several thousand dollars to buy a machine that simulates walking up and down the stairs inside your home just so you don't have to go outside and meet people.
But walking up and down my house stairs is boring. With a stairmaster I can watch Youtube videos. And if it burns 398 calories every 20 minutes, I could literally get ripped as shit in a couple of weeks.
How long/fast should I go on the stairmaster? I currently treat cardio as secondary to lifting, so I only do 15min of 60 steps/min every other day. But after starting it, I've noticed that I'm way better at climbing stairs. I'll be walking up 3-4 flights of stairs with someone and they'll be a bit puffed out by the end, but I won't even notice it.
Stairmaster would make ANYONE fit. It's like a fat destruction cheat code. I need to save up for one. It's literally the answer to everything asked on IST.
Nobody need that shit.
why do you walk all day? Gym of life, so to speak?
Just hiked a mountain pass, but yeah I do live in a small city so I can walk / bike everywhere easily.
Okay. How many calories does it burn?
Bout tree fiddy
>2mph
That's hardly a lazy stroll. I set my treadmill to 3.5mph and do a 40% incline for 10 mins as my warmup. I burn about 130 calories. 6 foot 4, 250 lbs.
I doubt your treadmill even goes to 40%

None of the treadmills either at my apt complex or gym go above 15, it's fricking over

What stops you from watching videos while walking your house stairs?
I'd have to hold a phone in my hands and might slip on the stairs and injure myself.
I talk to other stairmaster chads at the gym.
My wife does this shit for an hour at a time at a fast pace, but doesn't enjoy lifting. I don't get it, but I'm glad she enjoys it.
usually get plenty of cardio from high rep lifting, don't bother otherwise
What's your routine?
I use it to dynamically stretch calves before squats.
Shit, they're expensive, £4.5k
go to a gym
No, I don't want to work out in front of others or risk getting covid. Burning 1000 cals an hour might be worth the investment, though.
>risk getting covid
I would venture not only a lol but also a lmao. Stay golden, bubble boy.
OK - how can I get these results without the stairmaster? I'm serious, I want to burn 2000 cals + each day.

What's the 1/2/3/4 of the stairmaster?
These are my favourite cardio because cardio is so fricking boring I just want it done asap
