    I'm having a hard time getting to 2pl8 but that's likely because im on the cut. escaping skinny fat really do take time.

    My strength has dropped. Back in my dad's home gym I could bench a 45 + 10 on each side max.

    Now I can barely bench 1pl8 and certainly can't do many reps

      1pl8 weighs 45 lbs. Most barbells weigh 45 lbs by themselves so "benching 1pl8" usually means benching the empty bar by itself. 90 lbs would be 2pl8, 135 lbs (one plate per side) would count as 3pl8, etc.

    That's awesome op, I remember when I hit 1pl8 and you do feel like you are getting strong. Soon I will hit 315 1rm, but that day has not come yet. Perhaps tomorrow
