I’ve been taking fin since May last year from the ages of 22-23. Supposeduly your body still uses DHT up until the age of 25. Have I fricked up my puberty cycle by being on this between 22-23? My plan was always to use fin until I got married & then stop it once I found a wife, I see myself getting married by 25/26. I get compliments on my hair almost daily & I looked worse a year ago pre fin. I’m really not sure on whether I should hop off or not, I don’t wanna limit how deep my voice is/how much my beard develops/jaw/chin development. Looking for genuine answers no trolls thanks.

I also started minox about 4 months ago & this has given me crazy good results - currently considering just jumping off fin & sticking with minox but I was balding extremely aggressively pre fin.
You can't get by on just minox. You'll bolster your hair for a bit by adding growth to more of them, but all will resume thinning/miniaturization. I regret dialing back my routine for a few months and then losing ground I likely won't get back.

i'm 31, my DHT gave me a full jaw and full fricking beard at 21 and started minaturizing my hairline at 31, enough to hop on fin and my voice never really fully descended in all that time i still sound like a fricking nasal nerd and can't do a low voice at all without it sounding fake, everyone is different and I wouldn't worry too much about it

No, men have to be on finasteride. Higher DHT causes more scaring during a heart attack. Finasteride reduces DHT and it reduces scaring during a heart attack so you could have four heart attacks before you get as much scaring or heart damage as a guy off finasteride when gets annihilated by one heart attack. Women also benefit from this side effect, but not as much since they do not produce as much DHT in the first place. This was replicated in mice because muh ethics in sciencce wont let scientists induce heart attacks in men while on finasteride to study the effects.

There are some progressive treatments like RU and some other shit I can't remember the name of that permanently disable the androgen receptors on the scalp thus blocking DHT there but all are still in testing and shit. They likely will not be on the market for a decade, if that, and unfortunately hair loss is time sensitive.
And, like you say, there's more money in continued treatment than a one time thing that stops the hair loss. Hair loss cure is basically in cancer cure category, there's more money to be made in ongoing treatments.

There are ome freak responders to treatment I've seen post pictures of restoring pretty much all of their hairline, but for the most part even with fin and min and RU and peppermint oil and saw palmetto and dut all combined, you will never regain hairline. Anywhere in the front that is flat bald won't come back. They often can seem to fill in the crown though for the most part.
I think it depends when you start. I always had pretty long hair so when I started losing them I noticed immediately and jumped on fin within a few months and grew almost everything back (I only started losing in my late 20s tho).

thirdly, you must analyse the shape of your skull in order to determine the magnitude of your misfortune. if you have a normal or even nice shaped skull, you have been spared of going through life like a freakshow and you can always just shave your hair and look like a regular baldcell

Anyone have experience with resolving gyno from fin? I took it for like 3 months when I was 21 with no sides and moronicLY stopped for no reason. Trying to start again at 25 and it's now giving me gyno, even though I'm leaner, good diet, stronger etc
probably because your testosterone and dihydrotestosterone were higher back then so fin could not push you over the edge back then but now you are getting crushed into subzero
