Fit Accomplishments

What was the last notable thing you've accomplished IST?

For me it was making it to 1pl8 on OHP. I am also proud of my weighted pullups.
Other than that. I guess I beat this guy in chess when he had a 7pt advantage at one point, that was pretty cool.

sometimes the littlest things are the biggest accomplishments. for the first time I got my new 9-5 office job, I went a full two weeks of lifting/cycling daily, eating well, and not drinking during on weekdays. Insignificant to some, yes, but monumental for me.

      hell yeah son.
I started really working out 3 weeks ago. 10lbs down. ppl, 6 days/week. Was an alcoholic (~500ml/day), shit-life. Not a blog post so had some changes in my life, stopped drinking, it's been about a month and a half since I stopped with some slipups. First Friday I didn't drink a single drop. Up this saturday AM, already worked out and the sun isn't even up, I've never been so ecstatic. I feel like the whole world is ahead of me today.
Congrats anon, shit's wonderful when you rise above your current self, even if its just a little.

I didn't work out in almost 3 years, but was fed up with my shitty lifestyle and physique about a month ago. I eat less and have lost a small amount of weight (still optimising the diet), but I am just in awe of how quickly I got my strength back. My first workout was brutal af, I literally had to go to sleep due to exhaustion after two exercises (home gym), but a month later I am almost at the point I was 3 years ago with weights and all that. I wasn't lifting much weight back then, but I was fit and had a nice physique (~13kg less), so it feels good to have developed and regained that much in that short amount of time.

Nice anon. Must be a great feeling to know you can only get better than your previous best.

Well done anon, for me has been how my body has evolved since then
      >Used to not being able to run for shit to save my life when i was younger
      >Now i can go for a cardio jogging of decent time
      >Couldn't make any push ups in my entire teenage years
      >Now i could manage to do standar push ups, aiming to accomplish the 1 arm push ups and diamond push ups
      Feels good man

Finally managed to get 50kg ohp 5x5. Going to try 1pl8 1rm next time.
Also did a 3 pl8 deadlift last week.

Yes I'm a dyel rail, but I'm happy anons. We're all gonna make it.

my last impressive thing lets see
i fasted for like 24 hours today, i hit 325 on bench in January this year.

Same thing happened to me, only I was 23 and she was 16 (fully developed breasts & body, discord trannies will call me a pedo).
Hard to describe what this did to me. I know it sounds cringe as frick, but she kissed me awake. Even though it was only a ONS, the feeling of intimacy, being close to a girl, smelling what her hair feels like, feeling her body, that was so much more to me than even just the sex itself.
"Confidence" boost is a part of it, but it's more groundbreaking than that. Validating, motivating, I don't know any words how to describe what this made me feel. Made me get my shit together for the first time in my life, seems like something comparable happened to you.

You're not a pedo, but you're still fricked in the head for that and never gonna make it. Imagine thinking it's okay to frick a literal kid as a 23 year old

90kg barbell row 6 reps. Almost at 2 plates.

I don't get the 1pl8 ohp thing that was my starting weight for 5 reps. Hate ohp though gives a lot of dodgy pains.

I went for a run in public.
I live in a very IST city, and always dreamed of someday having the confidence to run with my shirt off.

I'm not quite there yet, but I did run several miles to downtown and back, just cause it was such a pretty day.

I've been going to the gym for 6 months now, and on a diet for about 8 months.

I've lost about 40 lbs going from 230 to hovering around 185-190

My eating has improved tons. Home cooked meals, almost completely cut out processed food. I have like 1 drink/week

My lifts haven't increased a ton (I think because I've been cutting so hard. 1800 cal a day while hitting gym 6 days a week)

Yesterday was my first day of maintenance calories. Time to get swole

Gained 10lbs this year which is a good start, want to gain 10 more and that's it.

Nothing notable but trying to get to the point I can beat my personal best of biking 500km in 12h. Regularly averaging over 35kph on longer rides without pushing hard which is so nice.

I haven’t had any soda or sweets in two weeks. The first two days with no sugar made me depressed. That shit is addicting like a drug. I’m only just now starting to lose my cravings for it.

Its kinda a catch 22 but now most of my clothes don't fit well. All my shit is baggy on me now. On one hand awesome I am slimming down. On the other I am a cheap israelite and I fricking hate buying new clothes.
Other then that being able to bang out 20 push ups easily even though I am still heavy is nice.

I am almost certainly the unofficial and unverified world record holder for the person that has gone the longest period of time without eating food of any kind that is currently alive today. The world will likely never give a shit if they knew or they would not believe me if they knew, but I know and my family knows.
