are those watches accurate regarding the calorie expenditure?
the thing is telling me I burn more than 3k cals as a 6' 187lbs, by only walking an hour everyday and going to the gym, seems way to high

It told my friend he burned like 600kcal bowling, so no
Just get an apple watch you poor loser
kys
You look like a geek
Could be about right, if you did nothing but move around the house and get on and off the couch all day you'd still burn ~2200 kcal, give or take. So a good walk and weight training on top of that could easily approach 3K total.
I'm 5'8 155lbs and usually burn 2300-2400cal on days when I'm in the gym. Usually walking 6,000-8,000 steps.
No they are not accurate for calorie expenditure.
How have you determined this?
Common sense. A device attached to your wrist has no way to track calories so it estimates things. It might do a reasonable job estimating calories lost from steps on flat terrain if it has your correct weight, but that's about it. Probably they inflate the number to make their customers who trust them feel better.
I have been using an apple watch for around a year and it seems very accurate. When I eat at what it says is my maintenance then I maintain, eat a 300 calorie deficit I lose weight, and if I eat at a surplus I gain weight. Make sure you put in all your info and make sure all the spoopy CIA trackers are turned on though for maximum accuracy, 10/10 would recommend if you are a neurotic autist like me
Forgot to mention it also works very well with Cronometer, so make sure you are using that instead of MFP or some other woke liberal app
Been using MFP but will take a look at chronometer. Using a Fitbit, but been looking at the garmins since Google now own fitbit.

This guy does pretty good reviews/tests on smartwatch fitness accuracy
I recommend the Apple Watch
>buying anything made by apple
Get a real watch.
>when you have to carry the certificate of authenticity around because everyone automatically assumes its a cheap knockoff
>can afford a luxury watch
>gets a rolex
why
Your sσylex can't measure your heartbeat
A "real watch" is inherently inferior and you must be particularly brainwashed and a total numbskull to suggest something like this. "Real watches" are inaccurate and, ironically, require setting the correct time frequently using a "fake watch" such as the clock on your phone. Watches are overpriced, heavy, brittle, and inaccurate at telling the time correctly, so why would you buy this hot garbage that is good at absolutely nothing?
3k cals every day? Well.. seems it show how much cals u burn in a whole with your basis need.
