Getting fat because of pregnancy is a bullshit excuse.
>how do you actually stay fit whilst pregnant?
>what are pregnancy health myths and psyops?
>pregnancy health advice?
My wife just told me she's pregnant, and we both know most info out there is psyop bullshit. Help a bro out.
I was going to ask /misc/, but figured you lads would be better
boonbs
her cardio will include riding your dick when she gets horny af from being pregnant. just actually be a present father and give her time to go to the gym when your kid is born.
Just had our first baby 2 weeks ago. Wife didnt gain much fat or weight at all because we ate clean and stayed active.
The women that get fat during pregnancy are eating like shit and sitting on the couch feeling sorry for themselves the whole pregnancy.

Real advice:
Walk a lot - ideally in parks with bathrooms (pee a lot in pregnancy) and water fountains, and with occasional shaded benches to sit and pause for a moment (easy to over heat). Wear good shoes.
Anything in the pool/water is amazing - good low impact but potential high result options.
Go protein heavy - anecdotally, gestational diabetes (diabetes during pregancy) seems to be massively on the rise in pregnant women, especially Asians, avoid this if you can by diet, and do screen for it at your checkups.
>The women that get fat during pregnancy are eating like shit and sitting on the couch feeling sorry for themselves the whole pregnancy.
1000% true - lots of terrible advice, including to carbo load, which lead to diabetes and then need for daily injections during pregnancy, which sucked.
Avoid the social media 'mom group' trap - it just sucks folks in to neurotic obsessions' or even pyramid schemes. Meeting people in person is fine, but scrolling social media for hours is terrible.
Congrats bro, my wife took a positive test last week too. This will be our second. Fingers crossed for the both of us, fellow DILF
>Getting fat because of pregnancy is a bullshit excuse.
>low energy because of baby
>throwing up because of hormonal changes
>body invests more resources into the baby
>body takes resources from body and gives it to the baby
You ever try to fill up a sink without plugging it first? That's what working out while pregnant is like
Every woman is different. Some can handle the changes. Others get absolutely floored and are basically of commission for the first 3 months.
Stop being a douche and encourage your wife rather than set impossible standards.
>hormonal changes
This shit is the worst part of pregnancy. Pregnant women turn into angry manipulative crybabies. Get ready to feel like a massive piece of shit and then look back later and realize she set you up with an unwinnable dilemma. Nobody prepares you for this. Hormones are crazy.
That's basically how women 90 percent of the time.
I accidentally the whole woman
don't be fat to start with. realistically how much fat can you gain in 9 months while also making a 7 pound hellspawn
My husband wants to push up us getting pregnant. Outside of money, is there anything we have to do to prepare? His argument is always that unprepared people have children all the time and we'd have the entire gestation period to figure it out. Now that go time is here, it's a little freaky
if you ask advice here you shouldn't be having kids
I ask advice everywhere. Have you met most people tho. If IST is the worst thing on my resume, I'm doing fine lol
>If IST is the worst thing on my resume, I'm doing fine lol
is it though
>goes on IST vs alcoholic, drug addict, multiple children from other relationships, bpd, etc
Yup, I'm doing fine
>my husband has a reasonable take
>is he correct oh internet strangers who don't know about our situation like my husband does?
Here is my advice: You should do what your husband tells you to do.
>You should do what your husband tells you to do
I do, but neither of us have been parents before and we don't know what we don't know. No shame trying to prepare
Imagine funding out your wife would rather listen to the opinions of IST strangers than you
>imagine not taking every opportunity to ensure your kids have the best
we're also having our first kid. GF is in w30.
All I can say is tell your gf to start workout her pelvic floor 3xtimes a day. That can help prevent prolapse etc during labor..
