Fucked up my teeth from lifting

Okay so I started lifting about a year ago and noticed my teeth are starting to shift.
In particular my front bottom teeth are starting to go crooked.

I always go to failure and clench my jaw really hard when I lift (not on purpose obviously).

Anyone here got any experience on how to stop doing this before I look even more British?

Hideous. Get braces or take a hammer to your mouth. There are no other options.

I just used pic related for the first time today,
If anything I felt more tooth pain than ever, think it just pressurises the bite into one location on my first molars.
Will carry on using it to see what happens but I think it's a bit of a snake oil product.

If it’s not shaped for your mouth it’s basically useless. Are you sure it’s not during your sleep? There’s no way you are biting long enough while lifting to move your teeth.

Yeah I was thinking that, it was some cheap "powerlifting" mouthguard I bought off amazon, will probably go to the dentist to get a decent one fitted.

I can't be sure, but I don't think its during my sleep as I've never had a gf tell me I bite my teeth whilst I sleep.

could potentially be wisdom teeth coming through as well.

Just googled about teeth damage and lifting and freaked myself out.

You can chip and crack them from pressure while lifting but you said they are moving which takes hours of constant low pressure I think. I’m no dentist.

            >go to the dentist
They are 5 dollars from Walmart.
You heat them up for a minute and squish your teeth inside.

Its not lifting, teeth naturally shift as you age.

I got invisalign in my 30s and then had the teeth shaped.

So now the teeth sit straight and flush with each other and cant move anymore

    Dont even need a retainer.

Put your lips between your teeth and then press on them

Just scream when you go to failure.

If you're that concerned, either learn new failure facial mechanics or get a mouth guard. Furious Pete used to lift with one so that he doesn't chip his teeth. Can also help you clench harder and get some jaw gains since you're not afraid of holding back the clench.
There are single and double mouth guards. The single ones only cover top teeth, double covers both top and bottom.
Don't get a cheap one, the ones you gotta shape are hit or miss if you mess up shaping them. My rec is to get one that fighters use. Make sure to wash it after every session.
