Man this was a tough one for me. My gf would send me to the store while i was cutting and I used to come home with a basket of snacks

I'd go to the gym then to the store and messed up my diet so many times, like gym is easy for me but not buying any snacks after 1 hour in the gym... Ugh

Just remember that everyone is watching you and judging you for your purchases.

Stop worrying about the few kilos you put on during the holidays. They are over now, you had a good time, and now its time to get back to it.

i do agree but 4kg is honestly rough except its probbaly not true op is just bloated but 4kg is 2 months of cutting at a 500kcal deficit. So you wasted 2 months of no gains possibly even losing some. That is honestly rough. Life isnt marathon and all that but yeah.

It happens to the best of us, its important to let loose once in awhile and forsake the "right" thing to have a good time. True discipline doesn't come from complete consistency, but the ability to fall completely off the wagon for a short while and get back on like nothing happened

How do you know it's ''pure fat''? It's literally impossible. I hope you walked, trained, ate some normal meal, even fasted, etc

Unless you consumed nearly 27,000 excess calories it’s not fat. I “gained” like 3kg over the holidays but it’s gone now. You just bloated.

it's the holidays. you're allowed to get fat. just lose the weight and start over. 4 kgs isn't much.

explain to me how you managed to eat an excess of 31000 calories over the holidays?

That's on average a month of eating a 1000 calorie surplus, very easy over Christmas, especially involving alcohol

Thanksgiving Christmas outings and all the leftovers of pie, nog, cake, cookies, pie, and dairy rich foods can easily put you at 2k surplus per day.

Don't celebrate the "holidays" and you won't have to worry about fat gain ever again.

Time to get back on track. Were you doing good before the holidays?
