Happened to me and im natty, went from 90kg to 100kg in my first year and cutting down now, so never really lean. And I have it only on my biceps and lats.

This is actually a really cool materials problem. Muscle is denser than fat which means gaining say 1 pound of fat on an arm is going to increase the underlying volume much more than 1 pound of muscle (i know gaining a pound of muscle on an arm is moronic but its just a toy model). However, muscle has resting tone and can act as a hard surface sometimes while fat cannot. But to be fair, expanding crossectionally does not end up depending on rigidity because an arm is essentially a cylider but it DOES depend on it orthogonally to the radius. All that to say fat increases the volume underneath the skin way quicker but does not make the skin conform as much when it does infiltrate.

I don't doubt you but tell me something, did you have sort of tight insertions like really small shoulder frame, or tight lat area, and did you heavy focus the bicepts? Because I guess I can picture a natty getting stretch marks but only if like the area worked was underdeveloped, sort of lean and skin already tight bc of short insertions/small frame.
I don't know, I think it comes down to genetics. I was pretty lean, but started to get really fat once. I got my shit together and tool care of it before it got out of hand, bit I'm covered in stretch marks both where muscles have grown and where fat began build up.

Stretch marks are good. It means you’re actually working hard, you should be proud of them. Like leaving a bench soaked in ass sweat; sure it might be embarrassing but it’s overall a good thing, you’re pushing yourself.
