      >Vegetarian is the way.
Vegetarianism makes no sense morally or healthwise.

      >Morally
You either think meat and animal products are fine morally, and will eat both.
Or you go vegan and eat either neither. Enslaving cows for their milk is not any better than killing them for meat after all

      >Health
So somehow in a vegetarian's head meat is unhealthy, but eggs and milk are magically good? Get some consistensy bro

So either go vegan or stfu

        >So either go vegan or stfu
That's the thing, being a vegan is Hell on Earth and not sustainable for very long outside of people with a 600lb Life level of mental illness. Being a vegetarian is a whole lot easier and it's a way to have your cake and eat it, too- you can act like you're morally superior to people who eat meat while not ending up emaciated and insane by completely foregoing any animal products at all.

Lee Hooper 2020, replacing saturated fat with pufa leads to a significant reduction of heart disease

              Anonymous

              1) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on total mortality.
              2) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on CVD mortality.
              3) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on CHD mortality.
              4) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on fatal heart attacks.
              5) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on non-fatal heart attacks.
              6) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on CHD events.
              7) There was no significant effect from reducing saturated fat on strokes.
The one significant finding, again, was for CVD events where it was claimed that the risk ratio (RR) for CVD events from meta-analysis was 0.79 (95% CI 0.66 to 0.93). Analysis 1.38 (of a number of analyses), on Page 159, ran a sensitivity analysis for RCTs that did actually reduce saturated fat – excluding studies that aimed to reduce saturated fat but didn’t – and the one finding for CVD events ceased to be significant.

Karma is a funny thing. According to the Indian caste system, people born into a certain caste are not supposed to deviate from jobs acceptable to their born caste. If you were born into a low caste, you are meant to live as a low person. This was to teach your soul some sort of lesson about humility and suffering. Attempting to raise up out of your caste was actually bad karma, even if in doing so you did good deeds along the way. You are in effect turning your back on the lessons you were meant to learn. Certain schools of thought have taken this to the logical extreme conclusion, that where and who you are born to determines what you should do in life. If you were born into a family of watchmakers, you too should be a watchmaker, and try to be your best at it. A police family? Same thing. Be the best cop you can be. Anything else is bad karma. Deviation from your intended lesson. This becomes interesting if someone is born into a criminal family. It means you are meant to be a criminal in this life. So in this scenario, stealing, murdering, raping, well, it's actually good karma. To someone born to be a criminal, being "nice" has negative karmic implications. That being said. My grandfather raised beef cattle. My father worked for a time as a butcher. I figure I better eat beef, just in case.
