The first night, I went to sleep at my bed time. Couldn't fall asleep, went on phone for 4-5 hours. I only got like 4 hours of sleep, but woke up at my dedicated time. The next day, same thing, but I got 6 hours of sleep. Next day? Same thing, couldn't fall asleep at dedicated time, but then I felt naturally sleepy 1.5 hours later so I still got 7.5 hours.
And now, today? I felt so sleepy I went early and I got 11 hours. I'm feeling sleepy right now too, and it's not even my bed time yet, so I'm sure I'll get my planned 9 hours today as well.
That's all you have to do. You just keep going and your body will get used to it and make you sleepy when it has to. You just have to wake up at your decided time. Just give it like 3 days and you'll notice how easy it is.
SINCE 2019.12 ...returned home from the Navy to costa mesa... You want to sleep better? Wake up at the same time every day. I felt shitty every day for months before I sat down and planned out a few simple things that I'd stick to.

>Decided to not eat 3 hours before bed
The first night, I went to sleep at my bed time. Couldn't fall asleep, went on phone for 4-5 hours. I only got like 4 hours of sleep, but woke up at my dedicated time. The next day, same thing, but I got 6 hours of sleep. Next day? Same thing, couldn't fall asleep at dedicated time, but then I felt naturally sleepy 1.5 hours later so I still got 7.5 hours.
And now, today? I felt so sleepy I went early and I got 11 hours. I'm feeling sleepy right now too, and it's not even my bed time yet, so I'm sure I'll get my planned 9 hours today as well.
That's all you have to do. You just keep going and your body will get used to it and make you sleepy when it has to. You just have to wake up at your decided time. Just give it like 3 days and you'll notice how easy it is.
SINCE 2019.12 ...returned home from the Navy to costa mesa... I was on 24 hour disruption and provocation, haven't got decent sleep for 3 whole years, sleep deprived always, the first 4 months are 3 - 4 hour sleeps every night, 3 whole years of sleep cycle all over the place, sometimes sleeps at morning, afternoon, night, midnight, reaaaaally bad for the brain, luckily I'm only 28 so the body is robust enough to get through the abuse and hasn't had a serious stroke or sudden cardiac malfunctions, so I'm pretty lucky to be still living, but unlucky that in the past 10 years or so brain and achedemic pursue completely halted due to the strong radar weapon system interference; recently about to beat world champ at some memory record, just to make sure that my at least my brain is some what still working, not completely disposable recyclable biohazard waste materials, maybe it could recover and I can still put it to some proper intellectual work.
that's important, because big brain need big work, computer, is the future.
Knowing that guy who lived normally after a disease ate 90% of his brain makes this plausible but highly unlikely
