          I mean it's such a stupid thing to say. How many hours do you start off sleeping and then you hear that and you think wow I better sleep for three hours less? 10, 9, 8? What if you currently maximize what you can do and only manage 5 hours sleep, now you sleep 2, to have "an extra month and a half to succeed in"? It's like something that a 12 year old thinks is a good argument. It makes no point.

          You don't have an extra month and a half to succeed in because you don't get any new days. Days come and go at their natural pace, you can't speed up or slow that down, a lot of time is waiting for the next date when something will happen - the next "turn" if you will. Your brain will be cheese during all of that if you get less hours sleep, you will underperform greatly, and then you end up with alzheimers/dementia proven to be linked to less sleep. What happens to all your extra time then? Just no .

          No, it shouldn't. I know because I've been doing it since last year. It makes you pee more consistently around the clock, rather than in the hours after drinking. There's also much less urgency when you do need to pee. Try it if you don't believe me. You don't have to commit to it, just do it once and I guarantee you'll see a difference.

    This was maybe the hardest thing i've ever done and it's because you have no actual control of your body. I would wake up and have to reset the whole process numerous times in a single night. I had to fight my bodies very subconscious.

        It's bad posture due to nerd neck from our horrible lifestyles.
        The reason why side sleeping alleviates apnea is because it allows for nerd neck.
        If you stretch your neck out and slowly lay back on your pillow with good posture, it keeps the airways in their natural position.

        Let me ask, when you lay your head back do you actually think about it or do you just lay your head back on a pillow? because 99% of people with bad posture just lay their heads back on a pillow.
        Once again, tuck the chin down into your chest, holding this position now stretch your neck all the way up and back onto the pillow. Now slowly relax your chin into the neutral position.
        That is correct neck posture, completely stretched out and back as much as possible.
        In this position the airway passage is a straight shot down to the lungs.
        In any other position the airway can close because bad posture pushes the airway channel walls close to eachother.
        Now obesity can cause this, but for people not obese it's literally bad posture from either
        1. your body
        2. your pillow
        3. your bed
        a medium/firm mattress rules out bed, so now rule out pillow by using a minimalist pillow. Which leaves only your posture. a minimum pillow is a pillow that has enough height to cradle the natural curve of your neck. Any less the neck curves down causing bad posture. Any more the head pushes up causing bad posture.

    You want to sleep better? Wake up at the same time every day. I felt shitty every day for months before I sat down and planned out a few simple things that I'd stick to.
    >Decided on a bed time
    >Decided on a wake time
    >Decided to not drink water 1 hour before bed
    >Decided to not eat 3 hours before bed
    The first night, I went to sleep at my bed time. Couldn't fall asleep, went on phone for 4-5 hours. I only got like 4 hours of sleep, but woke up at my dedicated time. The next day, same thing, but I got 6 hours of sleep. Next day? Same thing, couldn't fall asleep at dedicated time, but then I felt naturally sleepy 1.5 hours later so I still got 7.5 hours.

    And now, today? I felt so sleepy I went early and I got 11 hours. I'm feeling sleepy right now too, and it's not even my bed time yet, so I'm sure I'll get my planned 9 hours today as well.

    That's all you have to do. You just keep going and your body will get used to it and make you sleepy when it has to. You just have to wake up at your decided time. Just give it like 3 days and you'll notice how easy it is.

    SINCE 2019.12 ...returned home from the Navy to costa mesa... I was on 24 hour disruption and provocation, haven't got decent sleep for 3 whole years, sleep deprived always, the first 4 months are 3 - 4 hour sleeps every night, 3 whole years of sleep cycle all over the place, sometimes sleeps at morning, afternoon, night, midnight, reaaaaally bad for the brain, luckily I'm only 28 so the body is robust enough to get through the abuse and hasn't had a serious stroke or sudden cardiac malfunctions, so I'm pretty lucky to be still living, but unlucky that in the past 10 years or so brain and achedemic pursue completely halted due to the strong radar weapon system interference; recently about to beat world champ at some memory record, just to make sure that my at least my brain is some what still working, not completely disposable recyclable biohazard waste materials, maybe it could recover and I can still put it to some proper intellectual work.
    that's important, because big brain need big work, computer, is the future.
