    I've been fatter than you
Its going to take a while to lose the weight, but first you need to battle your food habit/addiction.

Yeah I was 230 and dieted to 140 over the pandemic
The moment I stopped tracking everything I ate I got addicted again
Eating without thinking, eating because if I don’t I can’t focus on anything except the thought of food afterwards

        Dude literally just do this
        >start this immediately:
2,000 calories flat, regardless of what you’re eating never go above 2000
Simultaneously start cycling out shitty food for healthier foods. Hint: potatoes are filling
Walk. Every day walk. Idgaf if you have to start at 20 minutes, start there and add 10 minutes a week until you’re at an hour. Then add a second walk later in the day and do the same shit, start at 20 minutes work way up to 2 one hour walks a day
Lift twice a week. Just to get into the habit of being consistent. Just pick any 2-5 lifts and do them Monday and Thursday.
        >accomplish this over the first 3 months
Get calories dialed in, use online calculator and find maintenance (sedentary) then eat 500 below that. That + all the walking you’ll initially lose like 10lbs a month for a while, it will slow to around 2lbs a week as you lose the weight.
Get yourself to a point where you’re lifting full body 3 days a week.
Be able to walk an hour at a moderate pace twice a day.
One day of actual cardio, I recommend rowing.

Congrats, 3 months of this and the number on the scale will be significantly lower. 6 months and you’ll notice a change in physique. 1 year and boom you’ll be a lot leaner and have some visible gains. About 18 months (1.5 years) you’ll be shredded, like have muscle definition and abs be under 15% body fat.

        T. Did the same shit. Lost over 100lbs, kept the weight off for years. Was in genuinely great shape, gained from skelly to actually muscular fit guy known as the gym bro in social groups.
Gained it all back couple years ago. Started fixing it few months back, applying everything I learned in the past. What I have wrote for you here is stupidly simple and a way of gradually getting back into it, with the primary initial goal being to get used to exercising and eating correctly. To build habits and unlearn shitty ones. After that (around 3 months) you start pushing yourself harder and harder.

You have to go on a strict diet and only eat what is on the diet. That will cure you of your habit.
