Or, go 30 minutes to burn extra calories and DON'T eat over your TDEE and attempt to "make up" food you eat.

Forefoot bro, you get the speed and jacked calves, helps with sprints and striking too.

i actually need to squeeze my glutes when midfoot running, after half an hour my knees start to hurt
forefoot takes so much energy its rarely worth it except for uphill sprinting

Just go on long walks. Sure, it takes longer than running to burn the same amount of calories, but it's way more enjoyable and without the joint frickery. Just put on some podcasts and enjoy being in nature or a city landscape. What better were you gonna spend your time doing anyway?

I burn 900 calories running 2:30 hours in total.
It's a good number for me.
You could either buy a treadmill or just do burpees, because it really saves time being able to fit cardio in between your daily routine without using up extra time

  9. 6 months ago

    Wrong on both counts.
1 hour of running at 8mph on the flat will burn 800-900 calories, and more if you are heavy. That would have to be one hell of a sandwich.
    > But I can't run that fast
That is why you train cardio

The treadmill says I burn about 550 calories doing 1 hour of 2.3 mph walking at 15 degree incline. I do 2 hours of that and my heart beat rate never goes above 140 during that time.
