    Like 20% true. Processed food tends to be high in added sugars and carbs and low in fiber which means it usually isnt as satiating as natural food. That's not the case 100% of the time though, just check the nutrition label.

    Also just because youre eating "natural" food doesnt mean your body automatically keeps itself in check, fat people existed long before food processing was a thing. It just makes it easier to stay full when youre not eating hyperpalatable garbage thats basically nothing but sugar, flour and corn syrup.

      It is true, but you have to pay attention to what your body wants and not what slop you are addicted to

    Yes, in my experience it is. Processed foods are designed to push the buttons in your brain and frick up your pallete. If you eat clean as frick for like, 2 weeks, you will start craving whatever nutrient you are lacking, AND everything will taste fricking amazing

    Correct. Fruit and honey seem to satisfy all my sweet cravings. So does milk. Meat and cheese are enough to satisfy any fatty and salty cravings with no need for burgers or pizza. Healthy food that people would describe as bland is legitimately delicious to me and I look forward to every meal. Hell, I even missed oats due to not having access to them for some months

Your body is the result of an incredibly long process of evolution, it is not a coincidence that all pre civilization peoples went to great lengths to acquire meat and didn’t just randomly decide eat grass and tree bark instead, despite the fact that they had no intellectual way of determining what was right to eat. Obviously your taste buds and cravings are designed to push you towards making the correct food choices. However, like with our other natural senses, they can be distorted and tricked, especially in a modern context. Junk food is porn for your taste buds and quitting it will have the same kinds of results as quitting porn (eg. innate desire for what’s naturally good for you).

    Like everyone said before, it’s true. That’s why diet drinks don’t help you lose weight; the artificial sweetener tricks your body into thinking you’re eating sugar causing an insulin spike but without the expected caloric energy which results in low blood sugar that then makes you hungrier and not satiated at all.

    I was used to buy some yogurt and found out recently that it wasnt real yogurt

    chicken receive hormones, cows too... all you can do is minimize, really... and hope for the best
