Lifting not only makes you stronger despite the muscle, it also improves your bone density. There are no downsides if you do it naturally. In SHTF scenario where you have little food, your muscle would just shrink but you would still be way fitter,stronger and ready to put on muscle later than someone who never lifted.
Also the thing about eating raw veggies (what a gay word LOL) and fruit. Yes fruit is based and should be eaten daily, but vegays are one of the worst foods for you, especially raw. Avoid green shit at all costs, only eat root vegetables like potatos, carrots, onions, garlic, etc. Green shit is not for humans >eat meat only once a week

In such desperate situations,you will need to be physically capable of carrying up to 200 lbs of supplies for miles without getting exhausted,you're gonna need strong legs and traps to complete that successfully along with the grip strength to properly handle a rifle,or if say it's a localized scenario at some point you may need to physically carry a family member to a hospital or doctor's office because all the gas supplies across many states ran low months ago.
