Gymmaxxing without the Gym.

Hey ISTizens. I am new to the whole fitness thing, long story short, I want to get muscles however I don't want to go to the gym (Closest one is far away from me so after a workout I'll be stinky and public showers aren't my thing)

Any tips how to workout and gain muscles whilst at home zero to no spending? Also what food should I prioritize in eating and what foods should I avoid? Is eating steaks and drinking protein milk good?

I want to gain muscles because I am tired of being a skinny c**t. I also heard that with great body comes confidence. I want to feel confident. I am tired of being a loser. I cannot not bother anon.

Get a pull up bar, a real one. And get into push up variations

"i want to get results, but not put any time or effort into it."

Not saying you can make progress with just calisthenics but damn this is a stupid mentality

I want to. But instead of going to the gym. I'll make my home be the gym. I just don't want to go to the gym.

are you like unemployed or something? Like it's so hard to build any program without any equipment. The absolute bare minimum you need a pull up bar or something you can use as one. And if you cant do a pull up unassisted you need bands.

With that being the bare minimum, it's simply not gonna get you very far. Pushup and Pullup variations get stale fast and once you get strong enough to do 30+ it's becomes virtually impossible to make gains. Put some money down and get an adjustable bench and an adjustable set of dumbells. That will get you like 15x further than judt bodyweight work

It is very hard for me to get any weight be it fat from eating shit food or workout. So it will take a while for me to reach the point where pushups won't do the job. I do plan on buying dumbbells. My main issue is motivation. I want to be better but I reach a point where I lose all motivation. same with nofap. I do good and then fail.

the only thing that realistically matters with pursuing anything is that you stay as consistent as YOU can. Stop giving yourself unrealistic expectations and you'll stop failing.

Struggling to put on weight is a problem i have no personal experience with so take my advice with a grain of salt. Try drinking a shit ton of your calories. Fullfat milk and whey. The fact is that you're gonna have to pick up the fork and eat when you dont want to. Sucks but the alternative is being a fatty and having to starve like me.

I believe in you and just watch some yt videos about calisthenics and shit. Good luck

Is it worth getting a pull up bar that isn't fixed into the wall? I live in a rent house where I am not permitted to drill shit into it.

you won't be able to do many pull-up variations with a door pull-up bar, but it's better than nothing I guess. Also, get yourself one of these to do your dips and other stuff.
