Just the plates. You know how heavy the plates are but you don't know how heavy the sled is. And different hack squats will have slightly different weight sleds. I've never seen anybody include that weight of the sled when talking about their hack squat
Okay I was just wondering because I looked at the hack squat standards and holy frick they seem impossible based on how I was feeling from only one plate. I think I just need more experience with the exercise, I especially had problems not pushing with my toes/balls of feet.
