Been taking it for 2 years, i suggest taking proscar pills and taking approx. 1/4 with a bite every day, or every other day. Super cheap and easy to do and saves my hair forever. Finasteride doesn't need strict dosage, you just need it to circulate in your blood to block the dht.

This is bullshit. In the rare chance you get side effects, you can just try lowering the dosage or waiting for them to go away. If you still get them then you can stop taking finasteride and they will go away.

2 years on it, first few months when I was dosing it 1 mg a day I was definitely getting sexual sides but my lifestyle was also unhealthy and I was a pack a day smoker. Afterwards I went to 0.25mg EOD and got some Tong Kat Ali and it seemed to balance out my hormonal panel, all issues went a way and I could jerk off 3 to 4 times a day if I wanted to and random boners/morning wood were back. Now I upped it to 0.5 EOD, no sides and my hairline is nearing NW1 from maybe NW2.5, I added microneedling half a year ago and it seemed to help a lot with growth.
Overall there’s some truth to it to fricking with your hormones especially if you’re already living like shit. But nothing too dramatic atleast for me.
