Isn't the issue caused by weak glutes+quads?? I'm guessing squats +RDLs would fix it

I do squats deads and RDLs and still have it. Maybe it would be even worse if I didn't but they're not a cure-all

Yeah, contrary to popular opinion, it's not going to entirely solve your problem, just makes sure that it won't degrade further. You need to do specialized exercises to have a feel of 'correct' posture and be mindful of keeping it that way all the time, until it gets better, like the gentlemens above said.

This. Also remember to stretch after every training session, and during off-days. Stretching is half the work.

Strong gutes, hams and abs fix it. Strong quads, hip flexors and spine extensors cause it.
It also migh be caused by poor shoulder mobility, so when lifting hands up your body overcompensated by arching your spine.

APT starts with upper back imbalance. Fix that and your lower back will come into allignment.

Chest up chin down as if you're trying to hold a baseball beneath your chin
    Palms open outwards
Pull shoulders back so they rest on your lats

You can also do some stretching. Lie on your back arms by your side, palms open outwards, legs straight and do the chin chest thing while bending your feet towards your chest

This makes sense but can you provide a source?

      I have.

This is pretty much the advice I used. Another thing you can do for neck posture is to identify the spot on your head where your hair comes together. Raise that up while bringing your chin back, then raise your face back up so you are looking straight ahead.

While exercises can help strengthen the muscles that are important in proper posture, it is much more important to identify what your posture should be and actually do it.

Yeah. Touch your forehead to your knees. Congrats. You just solved your APT. For my next trick, I'll teach you how to fix "flexed bicep" by straightening out your elbow.

Yes I fixed it completely and absolutely in about 3 months. The problem is a weak or inactive core (including glutes).

    >1 - Do these focusing on posterior tilt during the day and for warm up
    Plank
    Glute Bridge
    Clam Shells
    >2 - Do these with absolutely! neutral spine! to enforce good posture
    Deadlifts
    Squats
    >3 - Do anything to build up your entire core, especially internal obliques, TVA, abductors, lower glute maximus.
Back Extensions, Planks, Hollow Body stuff, L-Sits, Side Planks, Side Bends, Cables, Hip Thrusts, Cable Pull Through, Adductor Machine, Abductor Machine,

Develop your core and focus on lifting with correct form. Do not start BB lifting session with APT. If you deadlift and squat with APT it's going to be with you for the rest of your lifting career. Posture fixing should be part of your warm up until its not an issue anymore.
Also avoid sitting during the day. If possible stop sitting altogether until you have fixed the problem.
Also use a mirror and check your spinal curves during the day and adjust.

Ok, but may I ask: how strong to these *need* to be? Because I would say I can do all these things pretty well and there doesn't seem to be any *glaring* weaknesses

You just need to do them regularly while maintaining a posterior pelvic tilt the entire time. And then maintain during the day. They don't need to produce doms.

But you're not going to do it.

I spent all day trying to hold a neutral pelvic tilt while laying on the couch. I need to fix my tilt before next fruit picking season starts.
