Hate This

I hate that I have to buy one of these just to do one lift, bench press. I’m thinking about just not having bench as part of my routine because of how much this annoys me.

      You can get one for like £40 new

      Not about the money it’s about the space it takes and it ruins the look of just a bare platform with a barbell either racked or on the ground.

        Just do straight bar dips or push ups instead, moron.
        Bench press isn't the only option you have for training chest.

      I use my dining room table for much more. It’s just frustrating that with 3 pieces of equipment (barbell, rack, weights) I can do my entire body in compound lifts with heavy weights EXCEPT chest. With rings you have unlimited calisthenics too. It’s objectively a pain point.

    You can lay on your bed diagonally with head on the corner and do bench like that. I mean if you dont want a barbell bench. It totally works for flys and db press. You can even do rows if you elevated enough

      just do overhead presses instead. Double up on the volume. Far manlier exercise than laying on your back and pushing (seems feminine kinda, just sayin)
