Have any tallcels made it?

I’m 6’5 around 210 lbs. Been lifting for a little over a year and I look like I have barely touched a weight in my life. Despite eating in a surplus and gaining around 50 lbs I still have a shit physique. Has anyone around my height managed to escape skelly mode? How did you do it? Im starting to get really discouraged.

I'm at 220 and nobody seems to think I lift but I think I still look fairly 'good'

I'm 6'4 220 and every where I go people can tell I lift.

I'm 6'5 and between 180-207lbs there was basically no difference.

6'7" went from 170 untrained to 230 trained to 210 untrained but not fat. Take heart guys, at our height there's a serious stumbling block between 205 and 225 that varies person to person. That weight will be hard to break past, but literally 5lbs on the other side and people start noticing hard. Mine is about 220 and the difference is wild. If you can push past your stumbling point all kinds of social and physical gains await.

I'm about 6'7", ~315 pounds. I know I've got some muscle under there after hefting around so much fat for years, but I'm going to have to lose a fair bit to see it.

Not sure what it's like for the fat guys, all the 6'4"+ dudes I've ever know have been thin, but I believe in you dude. Just keep lifting while you cut down so you've got something to reveal.

Thanks, anon. Yeah, that's the plan. I'm putting down the fork and working out. Starting to feel good!

I'm real 6'5 and not 6'1 or 6'2 claiming 6'5 like almost all people on this board. I didn't really look like I lifted until I was around 250-260 lbs. even now at 265 I still need to gain and my calfs and forearms look small.

Yeah I'm 6'3" and about 200 lbs, I show a lot of muscle in my arms, but it's taken me losing about 60 lbs now, but it took me at least 40 to show decent definition in my chest and not until recently to show some in my back. I'm gonna drop to about 180 and see how thing are then, I'm really not as defined as I expected to be right now, I still look good with a shirt on so I guess it doesn't matter all that much

I'm currently 185 and my pecs show through my shirt and I look great with an arm pump. But with no pump I look like any average guy, albeit not fat. I don't know if that ever goes away for tall people unless you hop on roids obviously

I'm 6'5 and about 230. I'd say I'm dyel status for fit, but big enough that normies think Im huge. My arms are about 16.5 and still look pretty small for how long they are though. It takes time anon unfortunately I think 250 should be the goal if you want to look like you lift.

Further to that literally focus on bodybuilding. Manlets can powerlift and look huge, my back was literally skelly mode until I started blasting it with volume and doing a gvt tempo, went from skelly mode to semi respectable.

      If they're handsome

If you're average or ugly, it's probably a negative because too much height just adds to the overall weirdness factor.

        Sorry for the late reply.

Idk, I've never actually had it measured. My top 4 abs are clearly visible though and my bottom 2 are slightly visible (there is some fat over my bottom 2 abs). My arms are also pretty veiny.

I've been like that most of my life though. I started lifting when I was 157 pounds.

I forgot to add OP. You could just be experiencing body dysmorohia. One of my buddies growing up was a fat kid. Now he's 5'11", 230 pounds and pretty lean and he still thinks he looks fat, even though he looks like an ass-kicker. I stared lifting at 6'3" 157 pounds and now at 185 I still feel like I look scrawny, but I literally get compliments everywhere I go and chicks are always checking me out now. I mean a lot of 6'3" UFC fighters are 185 and none of them look scrawny AT ALL.

You also gotta remember that it's not just your muscle and fat that determines how your body will look. We also have different bone densities, limb lengths, places where we store fat, bone structures, biomechanics, etc.

A lot of those ufc fighters are dehydrated like crazy at 185 and fight closer to 205.

Former hungry skeleton, I'm 6'3" and was like 155 forever, now at 190. Actually counting calories and slowly adding over time is what did it for me. Use Cronometer, eat normally and log it. Then try to get protein up to 1g per lb. After you can do that add like 200 calories, then when that's normal do it again. Took me like a year to get used to slowly adding cals. GL

    Just about tallfriend...
6'4 230 here, i look like shit due to my hip bones and weird fat distribution but i run a sub 11 second 100 metres can play football for 60 minutes at a pretty high tempo, and when i get a pump i look like a monster.
The key is dont overdo one or two workouts and destroy your body, just keep doing something consistently.
Also, dont have a shit diet like me because if you do no workout will make you look good

It’s the 50lbs of excess lard that makes you look like shit. Not your hip bones

  12. 11 months ago

I have. I started from being fat though which seems to help. Doing years of calisthenics and plyometrics while being a fatass builds a solid base lol, and then lifting heavy ass weights builds on top of that. When I lean up I look pretty damn good so I've been told. Sadly I'm now fat (again).

at 6'2''+ you gotta be well into 200s with your weight to look like you lift. manlets discussing their weight escapades online makes you feel like anything over 200 is morbid obesity territory, whereas it's a necessity in order to fill your frame if you're tall enough
