i believe your body has mechanisms in place so that a 24 hr fast doesnt make you lose tissue. losing weight is a matter of a slight calorie deficit over a long period of time. like half a year or 3 months at least

B you should still do some exercise, like high school shit, walking 2-3 even 5 miles 2-3 times a week and general strength building shit, it doesnt have to be anything intense literally high school shit is enough
exercising doesnt have to be hard, sure you wont look like a body builder, but you can at least be healthy and more fit looking, its about actually doing it as a life style which is why taking it easy at first is important, you are going to do this for the rest of your life theres no need to jump to 100 and then frick off because you got tired of it
you are going to have to think of what you can push your self trough for at least 3+ months before you might actually get in the habit of doing it
A pound of fat is 7000 calories. You are not burning that in a 24 hour period unless you weigh a huge amount. Also not eating for a day, and then binge eating like a moron is not productive.
