>isn't she an olympic power lifter?
nah, she's a bimbo roid granny that's a teatcher to boot, noticed what she doesn't have? no enormous chest but big juicy wide thick lats though - that's what bench does, u ruin ur shoulders to get lats idiot, u can get lats just by looking at them lol
She cheated not only the entire federation, but herself. She didn't grow. She didn't improve. She took a shortcut and gained nothing. She experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference. She didn’t lift the weight.
>lifts the weight without help from others >it doesn't count because her ass wasn't glued to the bench >meanwhile, manlets and women do Exorcist-tier arches so they have 3 inch ROM and literally cannot unrack the weight themselves without help
This is why powerlifting is a joke sport that no one watches.

I didn't concede. I've benched 185kg under powerlifting rules and 190kg with my ass off the bench. I don't give a frick about your meme sport.

ah the IST dyels and their imaginary powershitters that they see everywhere.
I've never seen a powerlifter or shitter in my life but you see them everywhere.
Every now then then some fat ugly guy will come in do some shitty deadlifts. I guess that's a IST powershitter?
Just because you go to a shitty gym doesn't mean everyone else does. When I went to the most competitive gym I ever did about 40% of all guys could bench >3pl8, there were several dudes that routinely benched over 4pl8, and 1 guy that could bench over 5pl8.
I didnt say anything about people not lifting heavy.
I just never encountered this "fat powershitter" meme that IST dyels are always making threads about.
2 fat guys came in the other day. I think they were brothers. They could barely do 1 plate.
But that's alot of weight to the typical IST incel, so I guess these 2 fat wimps are "powershitters"
browncels from IST don't lift kek >join the sig discord out of boredom >tell them my routine >some pajeet with 13 inch arms says that i must be dyel >just left they aren't worth the time or effort
No. Most I’ve seen was about 280 and the dude looked like a skin head who got really into acting like a Mexican while in the Army. Probably was stationed at Bliss.
Lots of juicy dudes at my gym who can bench 3pl8. Chuddy nattycel types can lift lmao2pl8+ for reps no sweat (or spotter), and 150 lbs soaking wet high schoolers bench at least 1.5pl8.
Hugboxing ruined a whole generation of lifters. Frick reddit and their non-existent standards. 1/2/3/4 is not a lifetime achievement.
Well I guess me, you and others have different standards and ottermode can mean anything from 50kg to 100kg on IST but please go ahead and post these aestethic natty physiques who cant lift 1/2/3/4? I'm dying to see them.
>3/4/5 is standard >wr bench is like 800 vs 1100 dl
People need to get on the vertical/horizontal split and not lift legs before upper every single workout.
I have seen 315lbs plenty of times, most I saw was 405lbs for a triple.
Most at 315lbs+ are bloated but not fat. Some guys are in shape. None of them look like gear heads. The guy who did 4pl8 for reps was fat as frick.
I'm not fat, I don't bench 350lbs either. I just pointed out that being a permabulked powerlifting doesn't even compare to long term health impact vs blasting your way to a 350lbs bench. The fat guy probably knows more about programming too. Your mind suffers from instagram vanity disease.
>everyone who disagrees with me is fat
Yeah a lot of powerlifters roid too, yet somehow don't drop dead at nearly the same frequency. Precisely because they're fat and don't do extreme cuts lmao, my point still stands.
I think a lot of men think like this >damn I am weak >I must be stronger
Or alternatively, something like this >If I am going to spend all this time at the gym, I better do it correctly and have something to show for it
Lifting in a gym with a lot of strong people makes you stronger if you're wired like this. I got to a 2pl8+ bench within a couple of months, because benching anything below 200lbs for reps is fricking embarrassing where I lift.
I agree. I have no intention of progressing much beyond lol 2pl bench. And I think half the board is 140lb mixed race dudes who probably can't bench 2pl.
You will never look good if you cannot bench 3pl8 for even 1 rep. Pic related all bench 3pl8 and are natty and if you think they aren't natty it's because you look like shit and have to lower the "natural limit" to incredibly low limits so that you can chalk up your shitty progress to "genetics". Nah breh, you're just a lazy loser with no drive and zero ambition and it's also why you're poor and still live with your parents lol
I think 3plate is achievable natty, but you're a homosexual for talking on the behalf of people you literally don't know other than that they're ecelebs. Pathetic dick rider
>zach zeiler
you absolute fricking dyel beginner moron
who the frick would have thought that with copious amounts of steroids you can have a body without lifting properly
but go ahead im sure you will get those arms with curling 10kg dumbbells bro, weight doesnt matter bro its just mind muscle connection bro trust me
When I started and wanted all of it, the shoes, the belt, but most importantly the strength. I decided to go to school and shit so I kind of thought that everyone who went really often was some kind of Black person. I also just assumed I could beat pretty much anyone up because I competed in mma fights as a late teen, not any of that 12 rounds which is just unrealistic and 2 minutes isn't enough. Also none of that twinkle toes ballerina queer shit, I'd check their kick and then leg kick them followed perfectly by a fake jab into single leg. My hand speed is quite impressive, but what is really impressive about my style is that I can effortlessly block and dodge with my movement. My footwork is impeccable.
I'm going back to college when I get my shit straight, and this time I'm going to lift enough to gain strength without spending all day in the gym.
Once or twice
I recall this massive dude loading up some 360lbs on the bar and asking me to spot him, at a time when I wouldn't even dream of deadlifting that weight
My gym partner maxed out at 610 in competition, so he makes a point to improve benches for all lifters at our gym. Personally, he got me from 250x10 to 425x2 within 18 months (elbows nonwithstanding).
They have all been fricking juicy as frick. Both natty and roid. People have this absurd idea of strength =/= size but all they are thinking of are some fat powersharters or some genetic freak literal 1 in 100 million who broke powerlifting records at his relatively low bodyweight.
In 99,999999999999999999999999999% of cases if you have a guy who lifts fricking heavy and they have 12% bodyfat, they are fricking big. There is not a single natural that cant lift 1/2/3/4 but look impressive. Just doesnt exist. Strength is the primary driver of muscle growth within naturals.
I saw a dude bench 405 at Stackz Gym in Bexhill, England. He was probably the strongest human being I’ve ever seen. Not even really fat, just huge. I’ve also seen a few guys bench 315, most of them powerlifters.
The guys I've actually seen bench that much were all absolutely huge. Mainly bloated powershitters, but the lean ones benching that were just pure muscle and quite obviously not natty. All of them have been lifting for a very long time too
when you see how the guys who really bench 315 look you realize that the scrawny 150lbs gays on Instagram and tiktok who claim to bench that much are using fake weights. But hey let's stick to the story that any 150lbs twink who's been lifting for less than 2 years can bench that heavy
In the 90s, I used to see people benching 315-455 at my gym all the fricking time, because people were still trying to get strong back then as much as they were trying to get big.
Now, it's just broccoli haired zoomers pushing 135-185 max who are grunting like they're getting assfricked when they're literally moving bodyweight for 1-3 reps and act like they've just set a new world record.
It's fricking sad. I have to occasionally cleanse myself by going to my old powerlifting gym to watch guys hitting heavy weight just to cancel out the homosexualry I witness at every other gym.
Some were. Lots of dudes from just post-high school through early 20s who were strong who I'd see hitting 3pl8+ for reps.
Unless you were lifting in big commercial gyms where strong dudes were back in the 90s, you'll never know how different it was back then. It was neat watching the one guy come in who would hit 2-3 warm-ups, then, load to 405-455 and hit sets of 5+ like it was still a warm-up for him, no spotters, no safety supports, just came in and put that shit in check.
The dudes who were young who worked at the gym were always strong. Even my friend who got me into lifting was banging out 315x5 weighing about 180 at the time, back then, you were pretty much shamed if you weren't hitting at least 2pl8 after a year or two of training.
Unfortunately for me, my bench has always been garbage.
Yeah a 5’8 150 lb 20 year old I worked out with. He was shredded and even though he only had ten pounds on me he also had like 8% body fat when i was 14%(some electrical test reading, we just held this thing that looked like a steering wheel and it gave us some numbers) and he looked a lot bigger than i did.
Planet Fit >old like ancient black guy - 320lbs bench looked to be about 6’5” >asian who looks like that mongol wrestler meme - definitely on roids - 6’+ - he does 250 for reps and does 3 reps of 350
Have seen them both a lot and only spoken to them a few times. >White guy with patchy beard and a mean face - like an aggressive Wendy’s manager - he does 300lbs flat for reps then goes home
Never spoke with this guy but he nods when at me if I hold the door open for him. >big black guy 350lbs at least - bloatmaxx - does 325 flat for reps
Never talked to this guy but he seems really polite. He always cleans the seat and bar when he’s done.
Myself. I can barely hit 320 for one rep. No roids and only weigh 180 at 5’10”
Mostly stocky looking guys who tend to be shorter in my experience. Definitely high body fat on the natty ones but not all of them are absolute fat fricks. I did see one lanklet at the gym who looked like he barely lifted and repped 315, that blew my mind. Some people are just built for this movement, I am not one of them.
yeah, dude looked kinda pissed, had a red hue to his skin, huge neck veins and a huge neck, all i remember, he got 2 reps up and it wasnt easy for him, he didnt have a spotter but maybe did it cause me and by buddy were standing at the next bench over
Hey look, it's the guy who unironically lives with his mommy still screeching about brown people on IST hahaha actual mental illness.
Do you spend all your free time on IST? The fact I can open up a random thread and find you in here calling everyone who makes you mad a "brown guy" in actually pathetic as frick. Inb4 I'm also brown (take your meds)
Yea there’s 2. One ridiculously jacked guy and another guy who is dyel mode. I’m a Manlet and he’s got smaller skinnier legs than me. I don’t understand it.
I've seen 160kg. The dude was 170cm, he would train with his shirt off sometimes, looked over 90kg under 10% bodyfat but was actually around 83kg. He squatted 220X1 and pulled sumo 250X2. Good guy.
A long time bro... I haven't maxed since 2020 or 2021. Previous max was 295. Made poor life choices all of 2021-2022. Only did DB bench from 2022- mid 2023 until I got a rack in October. Been hitting mostly reps since using arnold's chest day routine. I can do 225 for 12-15 reps if that helps.
Yeah, of course. Imo a 3pl8 bench is pretty much a milestone to achieve if you want to look really good. You don't need to bench more to have an amazing physique, but your physique is probably not quite there yet if you can't bench it yet.
Saw a fat powershitter with a bright blue mohawk do 4pl8 for reps the other day. Put my 4pl8 back squat to shame lol. He was grunting and yelling like a moron the whole time too.
Me every time I bench.
I saw a guy yesterday at one of the gyms I go to. Waited 25 minutes, had a lot of conversations with almost everybody in the gym.
Did 4 reps at 315, in a dirty black hoodie, around 5'7, unshaven, complete loser vibes. After the set I asked why it took him 25 minutes to do one set. "Bet you can do better huh?" Went after my regular set and did 5 reps and told him the one trick pony manlet thing isn't a good look, then continued the rest of my chest workout with incline barbell press/flys.
Most people I have seen do 315 are very similar to that guy, one trick pony manlet losers hiding their gut.
Sorry for the rant, there have just been so many times I've seen this.
Saw it a handful of times in my commercial gym from big strong dudes repping it for sets of 5 or 6.
i also once saw 250 kg (550 lbs) for one rep and i was pretty shocked because even though the dude was clearly big, loads of muscle on his frame (he was around 5'11 or 6 foot tall) he couldn't have weighed more than 120 kg at most and usually when you see people on social media do this it's 130+ kg monsters. Not to mention that prior to seeing this I hadn't even seen anyone SQUAT that weight in the whole year that I've been there. I asked him if he was a powerlifter and he just calmly told me he just lifted as a hobby and never competed anywhere, i'm pretty sure he was bullshitting me. This was in a random fitness park gym in France. Never saw that dude again
couple of guys do it: one is stacked with everything he can put in his cheeks, some sort of Sulek without moron hair/hat. The other one looks like a dwarf from fantasy
I'm 6 ft 205 lbs and look very slightly above average.
No vascularity, I'm not massively built, no abs
Normal bench doesn't build you up as much once you hit a point. You don't need to be massive to hit it, but its a good lift goal and you feel cool having it racked in the gym. you feel a sense of conflict towards those also sitting there between sets with 3 pl8 on bench
>315 bench

Sleep schedule is the only concern also I've never heard of creatine making you bald.

that a reference to certain pope?
Have OHP and Bench but I put off DLs for a long time. Back at them and up to lmao3pl8. I front squat instead of back though

I used to see this dude @ PF a lot who was an absolute specimen. Most likely on gear... dude was shredded, doing 3pl for reps.

One of my buddies benches 315 for 1. He’s like 6’1” 220 so it’s not that impressive body weight wise.
I watched a guy bench 5 plates wearing jeans, work boots, a construction shirt, and suspenders. He looked like an athletic bearmode version of Wario.
No. Most I’ve seen was about 280 and the dude looked like a skin head who got really into acting like a Mexican while in the Army. Probably was stationed at Bliss.

and on gear lol 😀 gear does not melt fat, it often increases hunger - u fricking imbecile bot
fricking sad state of affairs if you don't believe you can get to 3pl8 without gear
Exactly once. Did a single with 3.5 plates. Clearly on gear. Pretty shredded and about 5'11.
Saw a video on ig of a 230 lbs bloatlord do the same.
I think roided option is better than weighing 230 lbs.
being moderately fat is much healthier than blasting gear
You look like a fat frick at 235 lbs. I'm saying Id rather choose the physique of the roided guy.
Theres no point in bloating extra 30 lbs just add a plate to your bench
I'm not fat, I don't bench 350lbs either. I just pointed out that being a permabulked powerlifting doesn't even compare to long term health impact vs blasting your way to a 350lbs bench. The fat guy probably knows more about programming too. Your mind suffers from instagram vanity disease.

if you guys have never seen someone bench 315 irl you need to go to a different gym what the hell
Do you think most people get into lifting and fitness to lift 5 plates? or do you think most people lift to try to build an attractive physique?
I think a lot of men think like this

Never spoke with this guy but he nods when at me if I hold the door open for him.
>big black guy 350lbs at least - bloatmaxx - does 325 flat for reps
Never talked to this guy but he seems really polite. He always cleans the seat and bar when he’s done.
Myself. I can barely hit 320 for one rep. No roids and only weigh 180 at 5’10”
A rugby player at my university was repping 315+ in the gym. Him and another rugby player who lifted when I did maxed out every machine, too
Yeah big fat Black at my uni gym, he was doing nearly 4 plate. Must have had a BMI around 40 tho.
Mostly stocky looking guys who tend to be shorter in my experience. Definitely high body fat on the natty ones but not all of them are absolute fat fricks. I did see one lanklet at the gym who looked like he barely lifted and repped 315, that blew my mind. Some people are just built for this movement, I am not one of them.
yeah, dude looked kinda pissed, had a red hue to his skin, huge neck veins and a huge neck, all i remember, he got 2 reps up and it wasnt easy for him, he didnt have a spotter but maybe did it cause me and by buddy were standing at the next bench over
i saw this guy doing it. like 10-12% bodyfat, super handsome, nice mustache super gay tattoos tho it was me
>literal discord troony has entered the chat
It’s over.
>i'm way too much of a ISTner for discord
post body i know you won't cause you are dyel and brown
3
>post body i know you won't cause you are dyel and brown
kek you are dyel brown and save wojaks i knew it go back to /LULZ/
I accept your concession.
>says the browncel agrily from his mothers basement
Hey look, it's the guy who unironically lives with his mommy still screeching about brown people on IST hahaha actual mental illness.
Do you spend all your free time on IST? The fact I can open up a random thread and find you in here calling everyone who makes you mad a "brown guy" in actually pathetic as frick. Inb4 I'm also brown (take your meds)
didn't read brownoid go back to /LULZ/ you don't lift aren't white and you never will be aesthetic
That’s a wiping
I accept your concession.
little browncel was so mad he reported my post kek you will never be white
Yea there’s 2. One ridiculously jacked guy and another guy who is dyel mode. I’m a Manlet and he’s got smaller skinnier legs than me. I don’t understand it.
I've seen 160kg. The dude was 170cm, he would train with his shirt off sometimes, looked over 90kg under 10% bodyfat but was actually around 83kg. He squatted 220X1 and pulled sumo 250X2. Good guy.
I hit 315 today for the first time ever. Feels good bros
How long did it take you to go from 2 to 3?
A long time bro... I haven't maxed since 2020 or 2021. Previous max was 295. Made poor life choices all of 2021-2022. Only did DB bench from 2022- mid 2023 until I got a rack in October. Been hitting mostly reps since using arnold's chest day routine. I can do 225 for 12-15 reps if that helps.
Yes, I seen a few. Each one was fat, balding and dressed like a slob
Underrated
There are three guys in my gym who can bench 140-160kg and its proper bench
My brother in law benches 315 for reps but he's like 5'5 muscle dwarf mode
Also a solid display of creativity and autism here
Did everyone clap?
How did he increase his shoulder width like that?
Well of course I know him, he's me
I wanted to see something to talk shit about but really nice lift
good pause
I bench 315x5 so yes
One of my younger brothers
He's kinda Enkidu, a bit shorter but thick as hell and he's my best friend too
my gym is dyel, I've never even seen someone bench 2pl8
